House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is prepared to hold the Biden admin accountable. But he’s had the rug pulled out from under him.
Because Senate Republicans cut a deal with Democrats that left Kevin McCarthy utterly furious.
With all the news coming out about the Biden administration’s corruption as well as the corruption of the Biden family itself, conservative Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives have been preparing to take action.
Several top Republicans have implied that there’s serious movement in the House chamber towards impeaching members of the Biden admin and potentially even President Biden himself.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has been aligning himself with the more conservative members of the House like Jim Jordan (R-OH) and James Comer (R-KY) who are actively investigating the Biden regime.
The only question, though, has been whether the Republicans in the U.S. Senate will respond with support should push come to shove.
There are a few strong conservatives in the Senate chamber like Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX), but not enough to guarantee that the actions the U.S. House of Representatives takes will be met with Republican support in the Senate.
Sadly, RINOs like Mitt Romney are the majority of the Republican wing of the Senate to this day.
And those RINOs just reared their ugly head again this week as they just shot down House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and his attempts to bring impeachment against the Biden regime.
Kevin McCarthy went on Fox News earlier in the week saying that he believes some of what they are uncovering about the Biden administration is “rising to the level of impeachment” and said that they would have a duty to bring articles of impeachment if it does rise to that level.
“How do you get to the bottom of the truth? The only way Congress can do that is go to an impeachment inquiry,” he shared with reporters in the media this week.
His Republican counterparts in the Senate chamber apparently don’t want to act at all, though.
The Senate Minority Whip John Thune (R-SD) said that the possibility of Biden admin impeachments are “not on the radar screen” in the U.S. Senate.
“You’d have to have the argument. It’s a high threshold,” Thune said regarding potential impeachments for the Biden admin. “I assume they’d have to have the evidence and some process where they, at least, get that evidence.”
Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) made it very clear that he doesn’t want anything to do with holding the Biden administration accountable for their actions.
“Obviously, the stuff that the House is revealing about the Biden family business is very disturbing, but obviously, the Senate doesn’t have any role,” Cornyn shared with reporters.
Senator Todd Young (R-IN) seemingly joked about the possibility of impeachment saying, “we’ve had a lot of those recently, haven’t we?”
“I think that’s a very serious path to go down. And I warned in the last two impeachments that we can’t have snap impeachments or snap impeachment trials,” Young added.
The king of the RINOs in Congress right now, Mitt Romney, chimed in as well saying that he doesn’t believe the Biden administration has done anything wrong to meet the level of “high crimes and misdemeanors” that would substantiate articles of impeachment.
“The bar is high crimes and misdemeanors, and that hasn’t been alleged at this stage, but we’ll see what develops. I certainly hope that’s not going to confront us again,” the failed 2012 candidate said.
If these so-called Republican Senators don’t think that multi-million dollar bribery schemes meet the level of high crimes and misdemeanors, then they are either absolute morons or shills for the Washington, D.C. Swamp.
