Radical leftists are doing everything they can to take away the rights of Americans. They’re showing just how easy it can be.
And this Democrat just ripped up the Constitution with this illegal ruling.
The Second Amendment not only gives Americans the right to protect themselves from domestic and foreign threats through the use of firearms, but it also helps to stop the threat of a tyrannical government.
Democrat Governor of New Mexico, Michelle Lujan Grisham, is showing how quickly a United States leader can become a tyrant.
Recently, under a “public health order,” the Governor suspended the right to open and conceal carry a gun for 30 days in Albuquerque.
At risk of stating what should be obvious, deliberately violating the Constitution is next-level illegal.

The reason for this was because of high crime rates that have recently affected the city.
“The nature and volume of these crimes require focused attention from the federal government,” Governor Grisham said when trying to justify her decision to take away a Constitutional right.
Grisham also explained that she had requested that U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland send federal agents to New Mexico to help combat crime.
She claimed that the assistance requested was to help stop the “violence and drug and human-trafficking activity that is ravaging our great state.”
But since Garland didn’t respond to Grisham’s plea for help, she decided the rational thing to do was to unarm American citizens, leaving them unprotected from the violence she identifies as destroying New Mexico.
To make matters worse, there are fines up to $5,000 that will be administered if anyone disobeys the unconstitutional order.
Unsurprisingly, Grisham’s actions were met with no shortage of criticism.
“I am calling on counsel to begin the impeachment process against Governor Grisham,” Republican State Representative Stefani Lord said.
“This is an abhorrent attempt at imposing a radical, progressive agenda on an unwilling populous. Rather than addressing crime at its core, Governor Grisham is restricting the rights of law-abiding gun owners.”
Even prominent leftists like David Hogg, who is an anti-gun activist, blasted the Governor’s decision.

Governor Grisham’s actions set a dangerous precedent that Constitutional rights can simply be taken away in the name of “public health.”
