The Left is already the laughingstock of the nation with their failed policies. Now they’re making things worse on themselves by simply speaking in public.
And this top Democrat has egg on his face after this embarrassing mistake on live TV.
New York City is in trouble under the failed leadership of Mayor Eric Adams (D).
His failure in properly addressing the illegal immigration crisis in the city has made the citizens become restless and agitated with him.
And when discussing the challenges New York City faces on an episode of WPIX-TV’s “PIX on Politics,” Adams made an all-time blunder.
The host of the program, Dan Mannarino asked the mayor the word he would use when describing 2023.
“New York. This is a place where every day you wake up, you could experience everything from a plane crashing into our Trade Center to a person who’s celebrating a new business that’s open,” Adams oddly replied.
“This is a very, very complicated city, and that’s why it’s the greatest city on the globe.”
This may go down as the worst answer of 2023. https://t.co/TlRAxJMUOK

Mayor Adams was of course referring to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 which killed almost 3,000 innocent people.
His answer was met with a large amount of criticism, especially from users on X.
“I’m not sure that selling New York as a place where you can experience 9/11 is the best argument that can be made for the world’s greatest city…” Josh Dawsey, a Washington Post reporter, wrote on X.

“How do we continue to elect people this freaking stupid? What a disgrace,” lamented Jake Asman, host on ESPN Radio.

Also during the interview, Mayor Adams mentioned how vital it is for the federal government to assist the city in solving the crisis of illegal aliens coming en masse.
Adams added that if New York City does not get federal support, then they will have to make cuts to the budget.
“Well, let’s be clear. What we’re going to have to do is extremely painful,” the mayor said.
“We’re going to have to see how do we deliver services to our agencies all without the resources we normally have.”
Maybe next time New York City voters will think twice before voting for another Democrat like Adams to run their city.
