And Top Democrats betray Biden in shocking act of defiance.
The Biden administration’s border crisis has been so poorly handled, that floods of illegal aliens from the U.S. – Mexico border, are making their way up to New York City.
And thanks to a New York law that mandates that the state must shelter any illegal immigrants seeking it, the city has a real problem on their hands.
Mayor Adams has been less than stellar in his attempts to control the crisis.
In a desperate measure to solve things, he’s even begged for President Biden to fix the issues going on at the border.
Adams has also drawn the ire of New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D) for his failures.
According to the Washington Examiner, “Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) criticized New York City officials in a letter Tuesday night, saying the city has ‘failed’ to accept the state’s help or recommendations regarding the immigration crisis there.”
Not only is the Governor frustrated with Adam’s decision-making, but the citizens of New York City have begun protesting the large number of illegal aliens entering the city.
As reported by Townhall, “On Staten Island, hundreds of protesters showed up outside a senior assisted living center on Sunday, which is slated to house people since other locations are constantly at capacity and the city needs more space.”

A former GOP candidate for Mayor was also seen leading the protests.
“Former Republican candidate for New York City mayor Curtis Sliwa led the protest and was arrested, among several others, for blocking the road” Townhall added.

Not only are senior assisted living centers being filled to the brim with asylum-seeking aliens, but facilities that were built just for the border crisis are being packed to near capacity.

For a lot of residents of New York, this feels eerily similar to when disgraced New York Governor Andrew Cuomo sent COVID-19 patients into nursing homes, resulting in a public health disaster.
Perhaps this will have Democrats in sanctuary cities across the nation rethinking their stance on immigration.
But with the Biden administration completely ignoring the major problem at the southern border and Mayor Adams being woefully unqualified to handle the situation, New York City will continue to get hammered with illegal aliens.
