Donald Trump is unafraid to call it like he sees it. And he sees something bad on the horizon.
Because Trump just unmasked Biden’s terrible plan for America’s future.
The growing political divide between the two major political parties in America is quite stunning to see.
Much of that can be attributed to the growing extremism of the modern Democrat Party, which continues to go further and further Left every year.
As it stands, there’s almost nothing they stand for that is reconcilable with the America that our Founding Fathers believed in.
Heck, there’s almost nothing that the modern Democrat Party would see eye-to-eye on with the Democrat Party of just 50 years ago.
Today, the Democrat establishment peddles abortion-on-demand through all nine months of a pregnancy for any reason whatsoever. Even sometimes after.
They peddle socialist policies that mirror more closely that of Communist China rather than the booming American economy of the early 20th century.
And they further divide the American people by forcing everyone to swallow their radical gender ideology with no questions allowed to be asked whatsoever.
Recently, at a campaign stop in Michigan, Donald Trump pointed some of this out in front of a crowd in Oakland County this weekend.
He noted that the Biden administration’s policies are “killing” the automobile industry in Michigan.
Trump pointed to Biden’s “environmental extremism,” lamenting how “heartless” it is and destructive for the average American worker.
“Biden is a catastrophe for Michigan and his environmental extremism is heartless and disloyal and horrible for the American worker and you’re starting to see it,” he shared with the crowd.
Then Trump pointed out that Biden’s “ridiculous regulations” are going to decimate half of the auto industry in the region and that Biden doesn’t even care.
“Driven by his ridiculous regulations, electric cars will kill more than half of U.S. auto jobs and decimate the suppliers that they decimated already — decimate the suppliers and it’s going to decimate your jobs and it’s going to decimate more than anybody else, the state of Michigan,” he added.
The former President and leading 2024 candidate is likely pointing to the Biden administration’s new rules that will require two-thirds of all vehicle sales to be electric by the year 2032.
The Biden admin’s EPA says that these rules are supposed to help “tackle the climate crisis” and “improve our air quality” across the country. They don’t explain how that is supposed to happen.
Nor do they explain how it is feasible for America’s transportation to be largely reliant on electricity in less than 10 years from now. Many experts say that the power grid, as currently constructed, cannot handle it.
Trump says that this is ultimately a move to lean into Communist China’s profit rather than American independence.
“The push for all-electric cars, it’s killing the United States, it’s killing Michigan and it’s a total vote for China,” Trump said in his speech.
With Chinese dominance growing out of control, it’s hard to say that Trump is wrong on this issue.
