For months now the former president’s been carefully vetting who will work alongside him if he’s fortunate enough to win a second term. But that person may finally be revealed.
And you’ll never guess who Donald Trump is considering as his pick to join him in the White House.
As election day creeps closer, former President Donald Trump and his team have to be thinking about who he’ll pick as his running mate, his cabinet, and his advisers if he were to win a second term in the Oval Office.
While Trump has no plans of announcing his vice presidential pick until around the time of the Republican National Convention, there is speculation that he may have someone in mind for an important advisory role.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Trump has been discussing with billionaire Elon Musk about a potentially becoming an adviser in the White House.
The outlet reports that details have not been set and stone and that the position may not come into fruition, but Trump thinks that Musk could provide a “formal input” about matters regarding the economy, voter fraud, and the border.
Regarding the border and illegal immigration specifically, Musk has been rather passionate about this issue, saying on X (formerly known as Twitter) several months ago that “America will fall if it tries to absorb the world. That is why I am banging the drum so much about this issue.”

The Wall Street Journal also detailed how both Musk and Trump talk “several times a month” on the phone.
“President Trump will be the only voice of what role an individual plays in his presidency,” Brian Huges, a senior Trump adviser, said to the New York Post.
“But it has been widely reported and is demonstrated in a number of ways, that many of the nation’s most important leaders in technology and innovation are concerned with the damage done to their industry by Biden’s failures to handle our economy and his moves to overburden innovators with government bureaucracy and unrelenting regulation.”
While Musk has declared in the past that he is not donating to either President Joe Biden or Trump, he has been very against Biden and his administration.
The founder of Tesla and Space X, and the owner of X, became a United States citizen in 2002.
And according to the Wall Street Journal, he met with Trump after Super Tuesday once the former president earned the title of presumptive Republican nominee.
So far, what was discussed at the meeting, which took place at Mar-a-Lago, has not been discovered.
“Look, I’ve been friendly with him over the years. I’ve helped him when I was president. I helped him. I’ve liked him,” Trump said to CNBC about the meeting with Musk.
It remains to be seen whether or not Elon Musk will actually join Donald Trump in an advisory role should he win the presidential election this year.
But the fact that it’s being considered is enough to make Leftists’ heads explode.
Musk has 185.1 million followers on X, meaning he has significant influence on social media and can help to bring voters over to Trump should he be officially announced as an advisor for the former president before the election takes place.
