Tucker Carlson delivers Donald Trump sobering news that he may never recover from

Tucker Carlson

The former Fox News host has been a strong supporter of Donald Trump’s over the years. But that may be coming to a screeching halt.

And Tucker Carlson delivers Donald Trump sobering news that he may never recover from.

Trump can’t seem to avoid the problems that have recently come his way.

Even his allies can’t help but add to his struggles.

And Tucker Carlson did just that after announcing he would not support a Republican ticket that had Nikki Haley as Donald Trump’s vice president.

Carlson was asked about a potential Trump/Haley 2024 ticket while appearing at AmericaFest 2023.

“I would not only not vote for that ticket. I would advocate against it as strongly as I could,” Carlson answered.

“That’s just poison! I mean, here’s someone who’s actively opposed to the interests of the country I grew up in, who endorsed the BLM riots, and who is not left but is neoliberal in the darkest, most speaking of nihilist, nihilistic way and has no real popular supporters, is a creature of the oligarch.”

“So yeah, that would be reason to oppose the ticket.”

Tucker Carlson’s opposition to the hypothetical ticket comes at a time when he’s been rumored to be a possible candidate for Trump’s VP.

Former first lady Melania Trump is reported to have asked for Carlson to be considered as her husband’s running mate.

Other possible candidates include Reps. Byron Donalds (R-FL) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) is also a name that Trump could be mulling over.

While speaking at AmericaFest, Carlson was also asked by a young attendee if he would be the Vice President for Donald Trump.

Carlson responded that he “didn’t know anything about that” and that “I’m a talk show host. That’s what I do.”

“I have a couple friends in politics amazingly, but in general, I think they’re probably the worst people in society. And there’s got to be a name for this – a country of great people run by the worst people,” he continued.

“It also describes the U.S. military, the best people led by the worst, and I honestly, I don’t think I could be around that.”

Donald Trump hasn’t been too concerned on who his VP pick will be.

But he does like “the concept” of picking a woman for the position. Could that be Nikki Haley? Only time will tell.
