And Joe Biden collapsed after making this deranged statement during latest interview.
In a recent interview, President Biden made another notable verbal slip, referring to himself as the “first black woman to serve with a black president.”
This misstep, part of a string of gaffes, comes as the 81-year-old president attempts to reassure voters of his capability to lead.
The incident occurred during an interview with Philadelphia’s WURD black radio station on Thursday, part of a media blitz surrounding Independence Day.
The president, while discussing his time as vice president under Barack Obama and his selection of Kamala Harris as his vice president, seemed to struggle with his words.
“By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman, to serve with a black president,” Biden stated to host Andrea Lawful-Sanders.
In the same interview, Biden highlighted his achievements, including the appointment of Ketanji Brown Jackson as the first black woman to the Supreme Court and his choice of Kamala Harris as vice president.
Despite these accomplishments, the focus quickly shifted to his verbal missteps.
Among other errors, Biden claimed to be the “first president that got elected statewide in the state of Delaware, when I was a kid,” a puzzling statement that raised eyebrows.
He also likened the struggle for black representation to his own perception of Catholic representation prior to John F. Kennedy’s election, noting, “I looked at John Kennedy and said, ‘Well, he — John — he got elected. Why can’t I get elected?’”
These lapses have heightened concerns about the president’s age and cognitive abilities, especially following his recent debate performance against former President Trump.
Despite these worries, Ammar Moussa, a spokesperson for Biden’s re-election campaign, criticized the media’s focus on these stumbles.
“This is absurd,” Moussa said in a post on X. “It was abundantly clear what the president meant. This would be considered a perfectly normal speech pattern for any other person in America and has certainly been normal for Joe Biden for his entire career. What are we even doing anymore?”

As President Biden continues his campaign, the spotlight remains on his ability to articulate his thoughts clearly and reassure the public of his readiness to serve.
But so far, Biden has failed to reassure the public as he continues to have verbal gaffe after verbal gaffe in pretty much every public appearance he’s made since his horrific debate performance the other week.
The president is clearly not fit to serve and voters, even Democrats, have realized this.
The question now remains, will the Left continue to let Joe Biden run for reelection?
