The world is becoming a scary place. Political violence is on the uptick.
And an airport hijacking by radical Leftists has the White House shaken to its core.
Travelers across North America faced a disturbing wake-up call on Tuesday when radical pro-Hamas propaganda hijacked airport loudspeakers and screens, spewing hatred against President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
This brazen act of digital sabotage hit hard at Harrisburg International Airport in Pennsylvania and Kelowna International Airport in Canada.
Videos captured by passengers passengers revealed the unauthorized blasts that were playing in the terminals, At Harrisburg, the invaders targeted the public address system with messages that pushed a pro-terror narrative.
Over in Kelowna, the assault went even further, with flight information screens flashing slogans that glorified Hamas and called for “Free Palestine.” Witnesses described the chaos as unnerving.
Airport insisted that while the hacks disrupted operations and spooked everyone, they posed no direct threat to flight safety.
In Harrisburg, airport spokesperson Scott Miller addressed the incident head-on. “An unauthorized user gained access to the airport PA system and played an unauthorized recorded message,” he told WGAL, a CNN affiliate. He stressed that the content was purely political and contained no threats to the facility or its users.
Miller added that authorities acted fast, shutting down the system and launching a police probe to track down the culprits. One boarding flight got an extra security sweep just to be safe, but everything checked out clean, allowing the plane to take off without further issues.
Meanwhile, at Kelowna, officials confirmed the double whammy on both their display screens and PA setup, blaming a sneaky third-party infiltrator. Their statement to CNN admitted some flight delays.
Passenger videos picked up chants of “Free Palestine” booming over the speakers, adding to the confusion. One traveler shared their frustration with the network: “Nobody informed us what was going on, there was no crisis response. Everyone was just really confused.”
Social media lit up with images of the hacked screens pushing pro-Hamas bile before staff yanked the plug and restored normal operations. Kelowna crews worked to wipe the messages and reboot the audio, but the damage to public trust was already done.
Canadian law enforcement jumped in, with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Transport Canada, and the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority all piling on to investigate. Yet, as of now, no shadowy group has stepped up to claim this cowardly stunt.
These attacks didn’t happen in a vacuum—they’re part of a vicious pattern tied to the 2023 Israel-Gaza war, where pro-Palestinian cyber thugs have ramped up their assaults on innocent targets around the world.
Glaring weaknesses in modern airport tech, especially those cloud-dependent systems, have made it too easy for hackers to slip in and cause havoc. The reliance on these setups has turned vital infrastructure into a playground for anti-American activists.
Just look back to June, when a criminal syndicate wormed into airline networks across the US and Canada, as the FBI reported. That mess exposed how fragile travel systems really are to these invasive strikes.
Then in July, hackers unleashed pandemonium at big European airports by crippling check-in ops for countless airlines.
Pro-Palestinian hacktivist crews have bragged about hundreds of such operations over the last two years, hammering transport, banks, and government sites. Outfits like the Dark Storm Team have a rap sheet that includes US airports, NATO assets, and Israeli targets, while the OpIsrael gang keeps defacing online sites throughout North America.
