This comes right after a chaotic street takeover where thugs targeted cops, showing just how lawless things have gotten under her watch.
During a White House chat with Argentina’s President Javier Milei, Trump fielded questions from reporters and didn’t hold back. He blasted Wu as a far-left ideologue who’s letting safety slide, and said he’d personally ring up FIFA boss Gianni Infantino to relocate the games to safer spots that actually back law enforcement.
“We can take them away. I love the people of Boston. And I know the games are sold out, but the mayor is not good. There are worse than her. At least she’s intelligent. You know, some are extremely low IQ. Those bother me more. She’s intelligent, but she’s radical left,” Trump stated.
He doubled down on his plan, making it clear that if conditions stay dangerous, he’s ready to act fast. Trump praised Infantino as a top-notch leader who’d listen, even if reluctantly, because it’s the smart move at this stage.
“The answer is yes, if somebody’s doing a bad job, and if I feel there’s unsafe conditions, I would call Gianni, the head of FIFA, who’s phenomenal, and I would say, ‘Let’s move it to another location,’ and he would do that. He wouldn’t love to do it, but he’d do it, very easily he’d do it. And this is the right time to do it.”
The trigger for Trump’s warning? A wild mob scene in Boston earlier this week, where over 100 troublemakers seized a street for illegal racing and turned violent against the very officers trying to keep the peace.
Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association President Larry Calderone said the attackers were “h*ll-bent” on assaulting cops. It’s a stark reminder of how anti-police attitudes fester in these liberal strongholds.
According to police reports, the mayhem kicked off around 2 a.m. on October 5, with crowds hurling fireworks, traffic cones, poles, and whatever else they could grab at squad cars.
One cruiser got torched so badly it had to be hauled off the scene. This isn’t just vandalism—it’s an outright war on the thin blue line, and it’s happening on Wu’s turf.
Boston’s lined up to play host to seven big World Cup games next summer, including five in the group stage, a Round of 32 matchup, and even a quarterfinal on July 9. But with crime spiking, who wants to risk fans’ lives in a city that can’t control its streets?
Trump isn’t stopping at soccer. He extended the threat to the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, another blue-city mess where leaders prioritize woke agendas over public safety.
“I could say the same thing for the Olympics,” Trump declared.
“If I thought LA was not going to be prepared properly, I’d move it to another location.”
