The left loves to assume the worst about Trump. But is any of it grounded in truth?
And a blue state governor claimed President Trump is suffering from a serious condition.
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker wasted no time launching another personal assault on President Donald Trump, declaring on MS NOW’s “The Briefing” that the president sounds as if he is “truly out of his mind.”
The comments came after Trump spoke at a 9/11 remembrance event and shared a vivid memory.
He stated:
“The United States Steel building was creaking, really creaking, and we thought it was going to fall down. The truth is, it creaked a lot. It creaked. It still creaks, but it never came down. And I’ll never forget, two firemen—we thought it was coming down on top of us, two firemen, big, strong guys. And I’m not the smallest guy in the world.”
“They grabbed me under the arm and they, got to get out of here, and they literally lifted me up. This is not easy to do. I’m big. They lifted me up and they started running with me and said, ‘Fellas, I can run myself.’ But they were amazing. But they thought it was coming down. It didn’t come down.”
Host Jen Psaki turned to Pritzker for his reaction, asking, “What did you make of what he had to say there?”
Pritzker did not hold back. He replied, “Well, he’s a persistent liar and a narcissist and honestly suffering from dementia. We’ve seen that over and over again.”
“Just compare how he was when he ran in 2015. You could disagree with him back then, but he didn’t sound truly out of his mind. Now he does. And of course he’s making this up. This absolutely is untrue.”
This is the same JB Pritzker who presides over a state drowning in failed leftist policies.
Yet Pritzker’s priority remains questioning the mental fitness of the man who won the presidency again.
Right-leaning Americans have grown tired of this pattern. Whenever Trump recounts a personal story or speaks in his distinctive style, the response from the political class is the same: call him a liar, call him crazy, demand he be dismissed.
The substance of what he says is ignored in favor of character assassination.
Pritzker’s attack fits a familiar script. Democrats and their media allies spent years insisting Trump was unstable, only to watch him campaign, debate, and win the White House once more.
The dementia charge has become one of their preferred insults whenever they lack a policy argument.
