Trump has his eyes set for the White House. He’s going to do everything in his power to win the election.

And Donald Trump just made this surprise campaign move that could secure him the presidency.

n the race for the presidency, Donald Trump is certainly heating things up.

Donning a red tie and apron, the former president took a turn behind the counter at a McDonald’s in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, serving up both fries and sharp digs at his political rival. The crowd, which packed into the fast food joint, was clearly eager to catch a glimpse of the unconventional campaign moment.

For Trump, McDonald’s is more than just a quick bite — it’s long been one of his favorite chains. But Sunday’s stop wasn’t just a chance to grab a burger. The visit was also an opportunity for him to raise questions about Vice President Kamala Harris’ claim that she worked at the restaurant in the 1980s.

“I’ll tell you what. It’s a great franchise. It’s a great company…look at the crowd over there. Look at how happy everyone is. They’re happy because they want hope,” Trump said, standing at the drive-through window.

“I’ve now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala.”

His campaign, which dubbed the event the “October surp-fries,” released footage of Trump working the counter and cheerfully preparing Happy Meals for customers. The MAGA crowd in Bucks County seemed to love it.

“We got the salt on it. Never touches the human hand. Nice and full,” Trump joked while filling a container of fries, referencing his well-known germaphobic tendencies.

Outside, over a thousand supporters lined the streets, hoping to greet the former president. One man summed up the enthusiasm of many when he said to the New York Post, “I’ll just take whatever he gives me.”

Among the crowd was Caitlin Hanlon, 33, a local hairdresser, proudly wearing a pink MAGA hat. “Love him or hate him, it’s really cool to see this moment in history,” she said. “But I obviously support him.”

Trump also delighted fans by personally handing out bags of food to people in their cars. “Thank you, Mr. President, you made it possible for ordinary people like us to meet you,” one man shouted as Trump passed food through the window of an SUV.

As the event unfolded, Trump seemed to relish the fast-paced environment. “I like this job,” he quipped, adding that he’d gladly come back for another shift. Even the members of the press weren’t left out, as Trump tossed fries their way with a wink. “That’s sort of a bribe, but a fry for a buck is okay,” he joked.

Trump’s visit wasn’t just about flipping fries, though. It was a direct shot at Harris, who has often recounted her time working at a McDonald’s during her college years as a way to connect with working-class voters. She’s spoken about how the experience shaped her understanding of the struggles many Americans face, saying, “There are people who work at McDonald’s in our country who are trying to raise a family.”

Her campaign claims that she worked there in the summer of 1983, manning the cash register, fry station, and ice cream machine at a McDonald’s in Alameda, California. However, Trump and his supporters have been quick to question the story, noting that her 1987 resume didn’t list the job and citing a lack of evidence.

Sunday also happened to be Harris’ 60th birthday, which Trump couldn’t resist commenting on. “Happy birthday, Kamala!…Maybe I’ll get her some fries…I’ll get her a McDonald’s hamburger,” he said with a smirk.

Trump’s fondness for McDonald’s is well-known. During the 2019 government shutdown, he famously served a feast of over 300 burgers to the Clemson Tigers football team at the White House. Last year, he made headlines again when he stopped by a McDonald’s in East Palestine, Ohio, following a toxic chemical spill in the area.

When asked about his go-to McDonald’s order, Trump replied, “I like it all, I like every ounce of it — everything.” He even took a swipe at Harris, teasing her for once complaining about the heat while working the fry station.

Trump’s playful but politically charged stop at McDonald’s highlights the intensity of the battle for Pennsylvania, a critical swing state in the 2024 election.

It also may have been unconventional campaign stop, but it showcased Trump’s signature style of mixing spectacle with politics, leaving both supporters and critics buzzing.
