According to fresh reports, the moment Donald Trump is out of office, the Bush machine plans to storm back in and purge every last trace of MAGA from the party they believe still belongs to them.
Yes, the same family that gave America Jeb “low energy” Bush, two endless Middle East wars, and the greatest betrayal of conservative voters in modern history is apparently tired of their “exile.” They want their party back.
Sources close to the former president tell the Daily Mail that a shadow Republican network is “lying in wait” for the day Trump leaves the stage.
The plan is simple: wait until he’s gone, then flood the zone and reclaim the GOP for the old guard.
“Now, rumors are stirring of a plot to end the so-called ‘Bush Exile’ and take back the GOP from the so-called scourge of Trumpism,” the Daily Mail reports.
“Behind the scenes, and still with deep connections around the country, a shadow Republican Party is lying in wait to take over when Trump is gone.”

One “former Bush official” laid it out coldly to the Daily Mail: Trump “knows that there’s no third term option.”
Translation: just wait him out. The official admitted JD Vance “has a head start” for 2028, but predicted the field will be “wide open.”
Even Michael Steele, the former RNC chairman, is now openly begging Bush to ride to the rescue. Steele says Bush still has “a voice that would resonate with a lot more Americans,” per the Daily Mail.
Remember when Bush actually did open his mouth about Trump? According to Breitbart News, in 2021 he whined to Norah O’Donnell that Trump “lacked the ‘humility’ necessary to be an effective leader.”
And let’s not forget 2019, when Bush declared that Trump’s “isolationist United States” was “destabilizing around the world,” per reports from Breitbart News’s John Binder.
He actually warned that pulling back from endless foreign entanglements was “dangerous for the sake of peace.”
This isn’t just a comeback. It’s a hostile takeover being planned by the same people who turned the GOP into a subsidiary of the military-industrial complex and the Chamber of Commerce.
