The former first son may have officially lost it. He’s certainly a basket case and then some.
And Hunter Biden made a wild threat that has everyone concerned about his well-being.
Hunter Biden, son of the former president, recently let slip his true colors in an interview, urging Democrats to crank up the heat on what extremism.
Far from calling for calm in these divided times, Hunter pushed for more intensity, claiming it’s the only way to expose the so-called threats lurking in the shadows.
Speaking on the “Wide Awake Podcast” with host Joshua Rubin, Hunter dismissed the idea that both political sides should dial back the rhetoric. When Rubin pointed out that extremism was only “escalating,” Hunter flat-out rejected it, insisting on ramping things up instead.
“I’m going to get myself in trouble for saying this. No, we need to turn the temperature up. We need to turn the temperature up, and we need people to see it for what it is. And what I mean by that is this: I do not believe that we are going to get to the bottom until we get to the bottom. And I want to get to the bottom faster rather than through this slow kind of process of just being picked apart — a death by a thousand cuts here,” Biden stated.
Of course, Hunter quickly backpedaled, swearing he wasn’t advocating for any kind of violence. He clarified that his call to action was all about bold truth-telling against those in charge.
Hunter didn’t stop there—he demanded that more Democrats in high places, from elected officials to the blabbering pundits on cable news, start calling things out without pulling punches. He slammed the soft approach that’s dominated left-wing circles.
“We need more people in my party, in the Democratic Party, more people in elected positions or in positions of power, or the talking heads that get paid to go on MSNBC [now MS NOW], they need to start talking about this as it is, not as a conjecture about whether or not the Supreme Court [sic] and this debate,” he said.
Taking aim at specific media figures, Hunter zeroed in on CNN’s Jake Tapper for what he saw as cozying up to President Donald Trump via text messages. This wasn’t journalism in Hunter’s eyes—it was a total betrayal of the press’s supposed duty.
“You have people like Jake Tapper who are having hardball discussions with Donald Trump over text. Like, what the f— are you talking about, man? That’s not journalism. That’s a complete and utter abdication of responsibility as a journalist,” Biden stated.
This wasn’t the first time Tapper faced heat for that text exchange. Even MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell piled on, mocking CNN for hyping it as some groundbreaking interview without verifying the basics.
“CNN presented a so-called interview… that they can’t even prove was Donald Trump. They called it ‘breaking news,’ they called it ‘an exclusive, new interview with President Trump.’ That’s what they called it, before the interviewer said this,” O’Donnell stated.
CNN, predictably, circled the wagons around Tapper. A spokesperson told Fox News Digital that their star anchor was just doing his job, chasing down answers from powerful figures to inform the public.
Hunter kept the media bashing going, targeting CNN host Abby Phillip and commentator Scott Jennings, who often spars on her program.
He accused Jennings of mindlessly repeating White House spin, even when it’s packed with outright falsehoods, while Phillip weakly pushes back.
“He goes out there, and he says, just parrots the talking points of the administration. And everybody does that, has done that in the past, but not when they’re parroting what are verifiable lies. And then Abby Phillips, ‘Well, that’s just not true, Scott,’” Hunter said.
Wrapping up his rant, Hunter painted a grim picture of the press landscape, warning that it’s falling into the clutches of wealthy elites who pull the strings behind the scenes.
