Harris is a poor leader. She’s being taken to task for many of her errors.

And this Republican Governor has slapped Kamala Harris with one ultimatum she can’t ignore.

Texas Governor Urges Terrorist Designation for Violent Venezuelan Gang Amid Border Criticisms of VP Kamala Harris

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has called on Vice President Kamala Harris to formally label the violent Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua (TdA) as a terrorist organization.

Abbott’s appeal comes with pointed criticism of what he describes as Harris’s “open border policies” that he claims put “the lives of every American at risk.”

Abbott’s remarks come just ahead of Harris’s rally in Houston, Texas, scheduled for Friday evening.

Harris was appointed three months into President Biden’s administration to address the “root causes of migration,” a role that has continued to draw scrutiny.

“Vice President Kamala Harris conveniently claims she cares about securing our border, yet her open border policies have allowed over 11 million illegal immigrants and dangerous criminals, like Tren de Aragua, into our country in the last four years — putting the lives of every American at risk,” Abbott said.

The Texas governor also noted that Harris’s visit would take place in the same city where, according to authorities, a 12-year-old girl named Jocelyn Nungaray was allegedly r*ped and m*rdered by two suspected TdA members who were allowed into the U.S. under the Biden-Harris administration.

“Jocelyn, her family, and all Americans deserve better. Vice President Harris must follow Texas’ lead and designate Tren de Aragua as a foreign terrorist organization immediately,” Abbott stated emphatically.

“But that’s just a start. The Biden-Harris administration must use the full weight of the federal government to eradicate them once and for all — for Jocelyn and for every American.”

The Biden-Harris administration had previously labeled TdA as a transnational criminal organization but stopped short of formally linking them to terrorist activity, as Abbott’s administration has done within Texas.

The Department of Homeland Security has so far identified over 600 migrants suspected of ties to the gang, which has been linked to violence, including shootings, s*x trafficking, armed robbery, and arms smuggling in multiple U.S. states.

A spokesperson for Harris’s campaign did not immediately respond to the New York Post’s request for a statement.

This Texas event is one of several Harris will attend in an effort to appeal to Texas voters, with plans to discuss abortion rights alongside Texas-native performers Beyoncé and Willie Nelson.

Former President Donald Trump will also be in Texas on Friday, where he will visit Austin to address the ongoing southern border situation and record an episode of Joe Rogan’s podcast.

Both Harris and Trump are facing off in a tight race, with recent polling showing neck-and-neck results in key swing states.

Even national polls show that the race is virtually tied at this point, with some polling experts suggesting Donald Trump could win the popular vote.

There’s still a little less than two weeks until the election, and anything can happen, but at this point the Trump campaign has to be feeling good about where they sit in the polls.
