In a decisive victory for the MAGA movement, Captain Ed Gallrein has defeated Congressman Thomas Massie in the 4th Congressional District of Kentucky.
The Trump-endorsed challenger swept aside the incumbent, proving once again that Republican voters are demanding fierce loyalty to President Donald Trump’s agenda and rejecting those who stand in the way.
Per the Associated Press, Gallrein captured 45,623 votes, securing 54.4 percent of the total, while Massie managed just 38,245 votes for 45.6 percent.
At 7:54 p.m., the outlet called the race, confirming what many patriots across the Bluegrass State already felt in their bones: the time for games in Washington is over.
President Trump threw his full weight behind Gallrein from basically the beginning. He praised the challenger as a “winner” and an “American Hero,” rallying the district to send a strong message.
In a powerful Truth Social post back in January, Trump declared:
“The incredible people of Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District, who want desperately to get rid of Thomas Massie, the Worst ‘Republican’ Congressman we have had in many years, gave us a mandate to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! The person that will help us do the job, and do it right, is Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, Fifth Generation Kentucky Farmer, and American Hero, Captain Ed Gallrein, a true Patriot.”
This is not some career politician or DC insider. This is a man who has served his country in uniform and understands the value of hard work on American soil.
Massie, by contrast, has repeatedly positioned himself against key Trump priorities.
From foreign policy fights involving Iran to resistance on releasing the Epstein files, the incumbent found himself increasingly isolated from the MAGA base that demands total commitment to winning.
Per Olivia Rondeau of Breitbart News, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth hit the campaign trail with Gallrein, delivering a clear message about what real leadership requires in these battles.
Hegseth knows what it takes to stand strong when the fight gets tough.
“President Trump needs reinforcements, and that’s what war fighters do,” Hegseth stated.
“They stand behind leaders and have their back. War fighters understand mission, they understand teamwork, they understand loyalty, and they understand that in the middle of a fight, you don’t weaken your own side to advance to the objective, and that’s what Ed Gallrein understands, because he has lived it.”
This primary win sends a thunderous warning to every Republican in Congress. The age of lone-wolf antics and half-measures is ending.
