Donald Trump is just getting started. He wants his second term to be a complete game changer.
And Trump made a promise that’s sent radical Leftists spiraling out of control.
Trump Marks 100 Days with Michigan Rally, Promises Administration Is “Just Getting Started”
President Donald Trump took the stage at Macomb Community College in Warren, Michigan, on Tuesday night to celebrate his first 100 days back in office. Addressing a crowd of thousands, Trump highlighted the bold steps his administration has taken, from fortifying the nation’s borders to dismantling what he called divisive ideological frameworks. The rally followed a visit to Selfridge Air National Guard Base, where he joined Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer to honor service members.
Trump wasted no time in outlining his administration’s achievements, framing them as a foundation for even greater progress. “We’ve accomplished more in three months than most administrations accomplish in four years or even eight years—and we’re just getting started, believe me,” he declared.
He called on Congress to pass a “big, beautiful bill” that would deliver historic tax cuts, including eliminating taxes on tips and overtime, a move that would put more money in the pockets of hardworking Americans.
A key focus of the speech was border security, with Trump pointing to a sharp decline in illegal crossings—a stark contrast to the record highs under his predecessor, Joe Biden. While Democrats pushed for “mass migration” and “mass invasion,” Trump said his administration was delivering “mass deportation” to protect national sovereignty.
The president also emphasized his efforts to reshape cultural and educational policies. He touted the elimination of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs across federal agencies and private sectors, calling them “lawless so-called Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion bulls***.”
He added, “I made it the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders: male and female!” Trump also detailed measures to keep men out of women’s sports and to halt transgender medical procedures for minors.
“I also proudly banned the use of puberty blockers … all these mutilations of our minor youth, I banned it all,” he stated, citing executive orders to remove Critical Race Theory and what he called “transgender insanity” from schools and the military.
Trump didn’t shy away from addressing challenges, including resistance from district court judges attempting to block his policies. He urged the Supreme Court to intervene, arguing, “We cannot allow a handful of communist, radical Left judges to obstruct the enforcement of our laws and assume the duties that belong solely to the President of the United States.”
He stressed that such judicial overreach threatens the nation’s safety and the president’s constitutional authority.
Economic optimism was another cornerstone of the speech. Trump highlighted major investments from companies like Apple, which he said is now pouring $500 billion into the U.S. economy instead of China. “Trillions of dollars are now pouring into the United States because of common sense,” he said, crediting his administration’s pro-business policies.
In a nod to his embattled Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Trump called him a “tough cookie” standing strong against “fake news attacks.”
Closing on a heartfelt note, Trump paid tribute to Michigan’s pivotal role in his 2016 and 2024 victories. “We stand on the shoulders of red-blooded Michigan Patriots — what great people, I love you, Michigan — who laid the railroads, worked the factories, tilled the field, forged the steel, fought the battles, and won the victories that built the Motor City and made this state into the pride of the American Midwest,” he said.
He celebrated Michigan’s legacy as the birthplace of the assembly line, Motown, and automotive giants like Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler, vowing to make the state “greater every single day” under his leadership.
The rally was a vivid reminder of Trump’s enduring connection with his base and his unrelenting focus on delivering results. He and his administration are hoping the best is yet to come in his second term in the White House.
