Political violence is becoming the norm. People are starting to get hurt.
And riot police flooded this major state Capitol after a shocking attack.
The Democrat Party and their violent mob of protesters and rioters have been heightening their calls for political violence.
And it just spilled over into the a state’s legislature.
According to several accounts, riot police descended on Montana’s Capitol when left-wing protesters disrupted proceedings in the state House of Representatives in support of transgender representative Zooey Zephyr, a Democrat, who was censured by the body last week.
According to the Independent, an unknown number of protesters were arrested Monday when the Montana Highway Patrol and the Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office launched an operation to disperse the crowd that had gathered in the House chamber’s observation gallery.
The group chanted, “Let her speak!” for “nearly half an hour,” according to another report, bringing the discussion to a halt in support of lifting Zephyr’s reprimand.
Zephyr, a bisexual and the first transgender lawmaker in Montana legislature history, drew criticism Tuesday after telling Republicans on the House floor during a debate on amendments to Senate Bill 99, which would prohibit sex change treatment for minors, that they have “blood on your hands,” a notion the lawmaker hopes will be present in their prayers.
“The only thing I will say is, if you vote yes on this bill and yes on these amendments, I hope the next time there’s an invocation when you bow your heads in prayer, you see the blood on your hands,” Zephyr said, referencing the body’s opening prayer.
Zephyr’s remarks prompted the House to vote in favor of censure on Thursday, citing “hate-filled testimony.”
“I want to be clear: No amount of silencing tactics will deter me from standing up for the rights of the transgender community,” Zephyr said following the censure.
“I will not apologize for speaking with clarity and precision about the harm these bills cause. Montana Republicans say they want an apology, but what they really want is silence as they take away the rights of trans and queer Montanans.”
The bill eventually cleared both the state House and Senate before being delivered to Republican Gov. Greg Gianforte’s desk on Friday. The bill is expected to be signed into law by him.
The actions of the Left-wing rioters in Montana mirrors the takeover the State Capitol in Tennessee just a few weeks back.
There, legislative proceedings were brought to a standstill by hundreds of protesters demanding the government strip Tennesseeans of their gun rights.
Three Democrat state lawmakers — Reps. Justin Jones, Justin Pearson, and Gloria Johnson — brought the Tennessee lower chamber to a halt when they joined in chanting with the protesters.
All of these actions just proves what Republicans and conservatives have been saying for years.
Democrat politicians will project everything.
They’ll call Republicans bigots and violent extremists, all the while they attack and shut down state capitols, riot in the streets, and assault people who disagree with them.
No one should be surprised.
