President Joe Biden doesn’t care about freedom for U.S. citizens. He actively tries to limit it every day of his presidency.
And the White House unveils a new scheme to spy on Americans.
The United States of America is the most free country in the world.
What helps allows for American citizens to enjoy so much freedom, is a limited government designed by the Founding Fathers.
However, President Biden and the Democrats want to do everything in they can to increase the size of government, therefore giving them more power.
That includes using the government to spy on Americans.
According to a report from the Wired, the White House has a program that allows for law enforcement at the federal, state, and local level to surveil phone records of U.S. citizens.
The program is called Data Analytical Services (DAS) and gives these law enforcement agencies access to phone records in the amount of trillions.
DAS is partnered with AT&T and seeks to spy on contacts of alleged criminal suspects as well as their social media profiles.
Those who are not criminal suspects are also spied on by DAS.
For example, if a suspect is being monitored, their contacts are monitored as well, allowing for DAS to surveil innocent people.
DAS also uses AT&T to provide them phone numbers, names of people who receive phone calls or make phone calls, as well as the time and date of the calls.
AT&T is not required by law to provide and hold onto these records, but they have been doing so to the benefit of the White House and the law enforcement that is able to spy on Americans.
Despite the massive operation that is DAS, this program has been able to go unnoticed for almost a decade until as of late after reports such as the one from the Wired, have exposed it.
“This secrecy is compounded by the fact that the White House, exempt from the Freedom of Information Act, oversees the program, further reducing public visibility into its workings,” says Breitbart in regard to how DAS has been kept a secret for so long.
The extensiveness of DAS is very concerning.
And it’s even more concerning that most Americans didn’t know it existed for a decade.
If the White House can keep that under wraps, think of what else they are currently hiding from U.S. citizens.
It’s very likely that the federal government has even more agencies and programs they are using to further spy on innocent civilians.
