Pelosi has been a thorn in the side of Republicans for years. Her failed leadership will not be missed when she leaves Congress.
And Nancy Pelosi’s career is on the rocks after she got caught betraying an American ally.
Since Hamas launched a brutal attack on Israel on October 7, the United States has made it known that they are standing with their ally.
But not all politicians are on board with that stance.
Some politicians, specifically Democrats, are firmly against supporting Israel in their war with Hamas.
Others, like U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), are fine with supporting Israel, but are greatly against it’s leadership.
While appearing on CNN’s Inside Politics last Thursday, Pelosi was asked by host Dana Bash on her thoughts of Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his administration.
“That’s not the issue. The issue is, is it in our national interest to support Israel? Yes. I think that that has been clear. They are our ally in the region. And yes, I think we should support them,” Pelosi began in her response.
“I don’t think that Netanyahu represents – let’s not even go into him. I don’t like to talk about those kinds of people, as I’ve said about what’s-his-name.”
Pelosi uses the phrase “what’s-his-name” to refer to Donald Trump because she can’t even stand to utter his actual name.
So in her response to Bash, the California congresswoman basically implied that Netanyahu and Trump are the same types of people, people she detests.
And the fact that she can’t even refer to Trump by his name shows her immaturity despite being 83-years-old.
During the events of January 6, 2021, Pelosi was seen on video talking about the possibility of Trump speaking with supporters at the U.S. Capitol.
“I hope he comes. I want to punch him out. This is my moment. I’ve been waiting for this. For trespassing on the Capitol grounds,” she angrily said.
“I want to punch him out, and I’m going to go to jail, and I’m going to be happy.”
While her comments on Prime Minister Netanyahu were much more tame, Pelosi continues to show just how she holds grudges over people she doesn’t agree with politically.
And of course even though he wasn’t the subject of the conversation, she just had to throw in an insult about the former president.
