Nikki Haley’s latest gaffe has her campaign in ruins

The former U.N. Ambassador had a rough night during the Iowa caucus. But now she’s made things worse.

And Nikki Haley’s latest gaffe has her campaign in ruins.

Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley had a disappointing Monday evening as she finished in third place in the Iowa caucus.

Haley was only able to win 19.1% of the vote. That’s compared to Donald Trump who finished in first place with 51% of the vote.

Florida Ron DeSantis finished in second place with 21.2% of the vote respectively.

“We have had an amazing 11 months in the Hawkeye State,” Haley said after the results came in.

She went on to point out that she has risen in the polls compared to other GOP candidates who have dropped out.

“At one point in this campaign, there were 14 of us running. I was at two percent in the polls. But tonight, Iowa did what Iowa does so well,” Haley said to a room full of supporters.

But what Haley said next had everyone truly baffled.

“The pundits will analyze everything from every angle. we get that. But when look at how we’re doing in New Hampshire, in South Carolina, and beyond, I can safely say tonight Iowa made this Republican primary a two-person race,” she said to cheers from the audience.

She continued, “The question is very clear: do you want more of the same? Or do you want a new generation of conservative leadership?”

Remember, Haley didn’t even finish in the top two in the Iowa caucus, yet she’s claiming this race is between her and former President Donald Trump.

Look, it’s highly likely Trump will be the GOP nominee by the end of the primary voting contests.

And for Haley to say the race is between Trump and herself, is just inaccurate especially after she finished in third place behind DeSantis.

Users across social media used Haley’s comments as a chance to poke fun at the presidential candidate.

“This was an odd moment for everyone watching,” one user quipped on social media.

Nikki Haley’s gaffes keep piling up by the day.

And she’s lucky she’s still in the race given the embarrassing magnitude of them.
