The political establishment in Washington, D.C. detests the former president. They are against everything he stands for.
And this RINO threw a lethal punch at Donald Trump that left his campaign speechless.
Donald Trump has been at odds with establishment Republicans for years now.
They are what he considers the “Swamp” in Washington, D.C.
But recently, Trump decided to changes things up and offer his support for a RINO who is running for U.S. Senate.
Former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan (R) is currently running for Senate in Maryland. Some of his policy proposals have differed from the traditional conservative viewpoint, leaving him to be an undesirable candidate for staunch Right-wingers.
However, Trump gave his endorsement to Hogan, something that the former governor wasn’t too appreciative of.
During a recent interview with WTOP News, Hogan explained that his campaign would not be “promoting” the former president’s endorsement of him.
“I just said I didn’t seek it. I didn’t want to have it. And, I have no interest in it. It’s not something we’re going to be promoting that’s for sure,” Hogan said.
“In a state that Donald Trump lost by 33 points, it doesn’t really carry a lot of voters over to our cause, so I don’t think we’re going to have any interest in accepting it.”

Larry Hogan is set to take on Prince George County Executive Angela Alsobrooks in the fall for Sen. Ben Cardin’s (D-MD) Senate seat. Cardin is set to retire at the end of his term.
Hogan also announced that everyone should “respect the verdict” after Trump’s guilty conviction in his sham hush money trial.
In the summer of 2023, he also stated that he was “embarrassed and disgusted” that six GOP presidential candidates would be willing to support Donald Trump regardless of a guilty verdict.
The candidates made the comments during a debate at the time.
RINOs are known for their stubbornness in politics.
And Hogan is a perfect example of that.
Despite receiving an endorsement from Trump (something that’s rare considering the former president’s dislike for establishment Republicans), Hogan is fine with ignoring it completely.
It might be best for him to do the opposite, however, as Donald Trump continues to gain momentum in the polls against the struggling Joe Biden/Kamala Harris duo.
