Vance needs to watch his back. His enemies are out to get him at every opportunity.
And these RINO Republicans have blindsided JD Vance with a ruthless attack.
Anonymous Senators Target Vance, Sparking MAGA Backlash
A simmering feud within the Republican Party has burst into the open, with seven establishment senators launching a shadowy offensive against Vice President JD Vance.
Their unnamed criticisms, shared “privately” with the Jewish Insider, have ignited a firestorm, drawing sharp rebukes from Donald Trump Jr., who branded them “cowardly neocons” and “genuine p*ssies.” He didn’t hold back, accusing these same figures of having “constantly trashed” his father, President Donald Trump.
The senators’ discontent stems from Vance’s comments in a leaked Signal group chat, first reported by The Atlantic. They took issue with his “suggestion … that the Houthis are more of a problem for Europe than the United States and his voicing of doubt that it was in the U.S.’ [sic] interest to strike the Iran-backed group in Yemen.”
To these lawmakers, Vance’s stance smacks of an “isolationist” streak that clashes with their globalist leanings. “A number of Republican senators are very concerned,” one told the outlet anonymously.
The unease runs deeper than policy disagreements. “They think it’s quite revealing. It reveals a mindset that I’m sure is perplexing to our European allies,” one senator remarked, while another called it “very disappointing.”
A third went further, stunned by Vance’s reluctance to retaliate after Houthi attacks on U.S. naval vessels.
“It was shocking to me that he didn’t see the need to strike back when they struck our naval vessels. That’s not a British problem or a European problem,” they said. “Frankly, them striking our friends in Israel is more than enough justification.”
Another unnamed senator noted that Vance’s skepticism aligns with his opposition to funneling billions to Ukraine—a position that, while coherent, raises alarms about the GOP’s future “direction” on foreign policy.
One even speculated about Trump’s reaction, musing, “I’ve gotta wonder if Trump’s looking at this and going, ‘What have I done?’”
But while these anonymous voices aired their grievances, the MAGA faction wasted no time punching back.
“So seven ‘Republican’ Senators decided to plant a hit piece in Jewish Insider attacking @JDVance ANONYMOUSLY over his America First foreign policy views,” strategist Anthony Surabian fumed. He pointed to Don Jr.’s on-the-record counterpunch: “Genuine p*ssies.”
Trump Jr. elaborated in a statement to the Jewish Insider: “These seven cowardly neocons attacking JD anonymously are genuine p*ssies. If they really feel this way, then they should at least be man enough to put their names to these quotes. The fact that they are too cowardly to do that is exactly why I’m so happy that these RINOs are a dying breed in our party – whether they realize it or not.”
He doubled down online, posting, “How much do you want to bet that the 7 RINO Senators anonymously crying about @JDVance to the leftist media are some of the same ones who have constantly trashed my father behind his back for years?”
The controversy didn’t stop there. GOP figure Steve Guest slammed Jewish Insider’s choice to shield the critics’ identities, calling it “DISGRACEFUL.”
The uproar hints at a familiar fault line—establishment versus MAGA—that could erupt into a full-blown showdown by 2028, especially if Vance eyes the presidency.
For now, the anonymous jabs at Vance have only fanned the flames, exposing a party at odds with its establishment faction and it’s MAGA faction.
