Because Hillary Clinton just blindsided Kamala Harris in this stunning betrayal.
It’s well known that Democrats have a 2024 problem on their hands that they can’t quite get out of.
The problem is that all their potential candidates have major negatives that could sink the Democrat Party in 2024 and beyond.
Joe Biden is simply disapproved by the vast majority of the American people, and his alternative in Kamala Harris is as politically toxic as they come.
Kamala Harris got utterly destroyed by Tulsi Gabbard in the 2020 Democrat primaries as she was exposed as a political crook to her very core.
Americans just also don’t like her very much. And even Democrats are starting to admit that.
Recent reports indicate that Hillary Clinton has joined the voices that are concerned about Kamala Harris being the wrong choice to run for President.
The New York Times published a piece that chronicled Kamala Harris’ struggles so far as the Vice President and even revealed private conversations that have been shared in Democrat circles where Hillary Clinton says Harris doesn’t have the “political instincts” to win a general election.
Two Democrats recalled private conversations in which former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lamented that Ms. Harris could not win because she does not have the political instincts to clear a primary field,” the New York Times reported.
Of course, it’s a little ironic that Hillary Clinton is attacking a fellow Democrat as lacking the “political instincts” to win a general election considering Clinton herself lost the 2016 election that she was heavily favored to win because Trump was an outsider.
Add on top of that the fact that Hillary Clinton is one of the most disapproved high-profile politicians in recent American history.
A member from Clinton’s team, Nick Merrill, shared with the New York Times that Clinton has always supported Harris and that they have a “strong bond.”
“They have built and maintained a strong bond. Any other characterization is patently false,” Merrill said.
The article also noted that Joe Biden could be considering dropping Kamala Harris because of how toxic she is politically and how voters might hold that against a Joe Biden-Kamala Harris ticket with Joe Biden reaching an advanced age.
“It doesn’t take a genius to say, ‘Look, with his age, we have to really think about this,’” John Morgan, a Democrat insider said.
The Democrats have absolutely cornered themselves and this is their fault. They have to lie in the bed they made themselves.
The Democrats suffered from so much Trump Derangement Syndrome that they were willing to do anything to get Trump out of office, even if it meant sacrificing their political future.
Now Republicans are poised to be able to take back the U.S. Senate and the White House in 2024 and set themselves up for a huge 8 years starting in 2024, especially if someone extremely well-liked like Ron DeSantis wins.
The root of all these troubles for the Democrats today is that they are politically toxic. It isn’t unique to Kamala Harris – she’s just their scapegoat right now.
The policies of the Democrat Party are radical and toxic, and Americans see right through their games. Kamala Harris just does an awful job of even trying to pretend to be genuine.
