And Donald Trump released an ominous warning about the Democrat’s plan for America.
President Donald Trump delivered a blunt message to the American people this week, declaring that a Democrat seizure of power would spell the final collapse of our nation.
Speaking with characteristic straight talk, the president laid out exactly how the radical left’s agenda would dismantle everything that makes this country great.
The warning came as Trump responded to a question from Breitbart News about what Democrats would do if they clawed back control of Congress. His assessment left no room for doubt about the stakes involved in upcoming battles for power.
“If Democrats took control of the Congress, I think that—and let’s say, took control of the country—I think that this country’s finished,” the president stated.
“These people are sick. They suffer from Trump derangement syndrome, but really, they have bad policy. They have horrible policy.”
Trump zeroed in on the immediate power grabs the left has been itching to unleash. First on their list: wiping out the filibuster to ram through their extreme plans without any resistance.
Republicans, he noted, should eliminate this tool themselves to protect American interests.
Next comes the left’s scheme to flood the Senate with new Democrat strongholds. Granting statehood to Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico would hand radicals four fresh Senate seats and a massive boost in electoral votes.
This move, Trump warned, would prove catastrophic for any hope of balanced representation.
“They’ll terminate the filibuster immediately; Republicans should do that. They’ll terminate the filibuster,” he continued.
“You’ll have Washington, DC, and you’ll have Puerto Rico as a state, which will be a disaster, which would be four Senate seats, tremendous numbers of electoral college votes… that’s really bad, but you will have the destruction of our country.”
The assault on our institutions wouldn’t stop there. Trump exposed the Democrats’ long-standing plot to pack the Supreme Court, turning it into a rubber stamp for their radical wishes.
While they float smaller numbers publicly, their true target is far more aggressive.
“They want to go to 21 Supreme Court judges, that’s their perfect number. They talk about 13, but they want to go to…21 Supreme Court judges. If they get in power, I think this country would be maybe finished,” Trump said.
This isn’t idle speculation. Trump has watched these forces up close, and his words carry the weight of someone who pulled the nation back from the brink.
