Half of the Democrats’ strategy is using the mainstream media as a political weapon. But they may no longer have that luxury.

Because a CNN anchor delivered Democrats a devastating loss they may never recover from.

Collins Rejects Liberal Hit-Job Narrative

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins pushed back against Democrat outrage over her 2023 Trump town hall, insisting she’s no partisan assassin out to sabotage the president.

Grilled by comedian Hasan Minhaj on his podcast about whether the event was a cynical ploy to lure GOP eyeballs, Collins framed it as standard fare for a network covering a “very clearly” campaigning Trump—exposing the left’s meltdown over unfiltered reality.

“Actually what that moment showed was there was still a lot of support for Donald Trump, and I think it was jarring for some people to remember that, maybe, and to see that,” Collins said.

“But that was reality, and our job is not to sanitize things and say, ‘Well, this is what you want the narrative to be’ or ‘This is what you want to happen.’

“Our job is just to cover it as it happens and to show you what that was, and I think that town hall showed people that my job is not to take down Trump. I’m a reporter and an anchor.”

Exposing Democrat Delusions on Trump Support

Defying the echo chamber of CNN’s liberal critics, Collins prioritized grilling Trump with facts over pandering to blue audiences, revealing the town hall as a preview of his unstoppable 2024 dominance.

She dismissed any focus on viewer demographics, proving the event’s raucous crowd reaction shattered Democrat fantasies of Trump’s irrelevance.

“If you watched that town hall, you weren’t surprised when Trump went on to sweep the Republican nomination, and you weren’t surprised when he won the election,” Collins said.

“Trump was re-elected and put back in office.”

Trump clashed with Collins on hot-button topics like January 6 and 2020 election claims, branding her a “nasty person” amid roaring applause—highlighting the left’s discomfort with unscripted truth.

Collins Doubles Down Against Democrat Denial

In a 2024 Elle interview, Collins shredded the notion of boycotting Trump, arguing that ignoring the GOP frontrunner would only empower Democrat media blackouts while reality marched on.

“I don’t think you can ignore someone who is the Republican frontrunner, and likely, if it was tomorrow, the GOP nominee,” Collins said at the time.
