President Donald Trump kept the laughs coming this Thanksgiving by roasting Joe Biden’s so-called golf skills during a heartfelt call with America’s brave military heroes stationed around the world.
From the White House, Trump connected with service members, showing that real appreciation for our troops that we’ve missed these past few years. One petty officer jumped right in with a fun question about Trump’s golf handicap and whether that epic match against Biden would ever happen.
“Are you and President Biden going to play that golf match?” the petty officer asked.
This all harks back to that unforgettable debate in Atlanta on June 27, 2024, where Trump first called out Biden’s bogus golf boasts. Not long after, Trump upped the ante by daring Biden to a showdown on the course, promising a cool million to charity if he lost.
Trump didn’t hesitate in his reply, exuding that trademark swagger we’ve come to love. He made it clear he’d jump at the chance to tee off against Sleepy Joe.
“I mean, I’ve invited him, but he doesn’t want to show up,” Trump stated.
Then, Trump dove into why he’s the king of the fairways, reminding everyone of his impressive track record despite a packed schedule fighting for America.
“Look, I know a lot about golf. I’ve won 38 club championships, and I don’t get to practice much. I won one last year. I won a club championship at a big club, beating a 27-year-old kid. I said, you know, I’m decades older than you, but I said, ‘The fairway doesn’t know how old you are as you walk up the middle and he’s in the rough.’ I’ve been a good golfer over the years,” the president said.
He kept it real about his own skills, noting he’s basically at scratch or even better, without needing to brag endlessly like some folks do.
“I guess I’m very — I got to be right around scratch or better. I beat a plus-three. That’s three better, three below par. If you look at it for those that don’t know, in the finals of the club championship last year, with all I was going through and with no practice. So, I’m a good golfer.”
Ever since that debate demolished Biden’s campaign, Trump hasn’t let up on exposing the former guy’s weak game. Remember that viral clip with golf pro Bryson DeChambeau and YouTuber Travis Miller? Trump crushed a drive and couldn’t resist the dig.
“You think Joe Biden can do that?” Trump said after hitting the drive.
Trump has repeatedly slammed Biden’s laughable claim of being a six handicap, pointing out how absurd it is for anyone who’s seen the evidence.
“He said he’s a six. I said, ‘You’re not a 60.’ He’s not a 60,” Trump once said. “So I said, ‘I’ll give you a million dollars if you can break 100.’ If you’re a six, you can break 100 easily. But he can’t.”
Back in July, when Trump’s own monster drive made the rounds online, he used it to highlight the stark contrast between a winner’s swing and whatever Biden calls his hacks.
“Did you get to see my drive on the first hole? Pretty long, pretty long. That’s no Joe Biden, let me tell you. That’s not Biden, right? That was a good drive,” Trump stated.
Wrapping up his chat with the petty officer, Trump delivered one final zinger, exposing Biden’s golf game for the sham it truly is.
“You have a lot of people talk, but they can’t play like Biden. Biden can’t hit a ball 30 yards. I’m telling you, I looked at his swing. He cannot hit a ball 30 yards,” the president stated. “He said he was a six handicapper. That was the only thing that made me angry. During the debate with him, he said he was a six. I said, you’re not a six. And he said, well, I’m an eight. I said, that was quick. I picked up two, but he’s not 100. He’s not 100. But it’s a great game, and I hope you guys get to play a little bit of it.”
