Trump is worried. It’s not often he gets nervous about something.
And Donald Trump has sent out a stark warning about the Supreme Court that has everyone on the edge of their seats.
President Donald Trump blasted out a warning that the nation would be utterly “screwed” if the Supreme Court knocks down his hard-hitting reciprocal tariff policies. He’s fighting tooth and nail to protect the billions in revenue America has raked in over the past year.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump laid it all out: “[I]f the Supreme Court rules against the United States of America on this National Security bonanza, WE’RE SCREWED!”
He didn’t stop there, diving into the massive financial hit the U.S. would take.
“The actual numbers that we would have to pay back if, for any reason, the Supreme Court were to rule against the United States of America on Tariffs, would be many Hundreds of Billions of Dollars, and that doesn’t include the amount of ‘payback’ that Countries and Companies would require for the Investments they are making on building Plants, Factories, and Equipment, for the purpose of being able to avoid the payment of Tariffs,” Trump explained.
The president painted a picture of total chaos if this goes south.
“When these Investments are added, we are talking about Trillions of Dollars! It would be a complete mess, and almost impossible for our Country to pay. Anybody who says that it can be quickly and easily done would be making a false, inaccurate, or totally misunderstood answer to this very large and complex question.”
Wrapping up his message with a nod to American greatness, Trump added:
“It may not be possible but, if it were, it would be Dollars that would be so large that it would take many years to figure out what number we are talking about and even, who, when, and where, to pay. Remember, when America shines brightly, the World shines brightly.”
This all stems from the Supreme Court’s upcoming decision, which could drop as soon as Wednesday. At stake is whether Trump had the right to slap on tariffs using emergency powers last April.
Trump’s strategy was pure genius in the eyes of many of his allies. He used those tariffs as leverage to force America’s so-called trading partners into real deals.
If the justices side against him, not everything crumbles. Plenty of Trump’s other tariffs stay in place, like the hefty 25% hits on cars and even 50% on key metals.
But the reciprocal tariffs? That’s the big fight.
Administration insiders are already gearing up, saying Trump would pivot fast to new legal grounds to bring them back if the court pulls the rug out.
This isn’t just about money – it’s about standing up for the forgotten American.
For too long, globalists in Washington let foreign powers dump cheap junk on U.S. shores, k*lling jobs in steel towns and factories across the heartland.
Trump flipped the script, putting America First with these bold moves.
In the end, this ruling tests whether the Supreme Court backs Trump’s tariff moves, or goes against them.
