Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett took to CNN’s “The Situation Room” on Wednesday to unleash a tirade against President Donald Trump, labeling him as the most corrupt leader in American history. This comes amid the endless Democrat-led attacks on the president.
Host Pamela Brown set the stage by referencing a Republican voice, Marlin Stutzman, who pointed out that Trump has been hounded by investigations more than anyone else on the planet, yet no real criminal dirt has stuck. Brown’s question to Crockett was straightforward: what’s your take on that solid defense of the president?
Crockett didn’t hold back, diving straight into the typical left-wing playbook of deflection and smears. “Listen, they will do and say anything to cover themselves,” she snarled.
She doubled down with her wild accusation: “You know, I will admit that Donald Trump has been investigated more than the normal, but he just happens to be more corrupt and more criminal than any other president than we’ve had.”
This is the kind of nonsense that fuels the fake news machine, ignoring how the deep state has weaponized probes against political enemies.
Crockett then tried to hammer home her point by bringing up Trump’s legal battles. “I will point out, he is the only president who has been convicted of 34 felony convictions that we’ve ever had in the Oval Office,” she claimed, conveniently forgetting that these convictions stem from sham trials in Democrat strongholds.
But let’s be real—those New York charges were a joke, cooked up by a biased judge and a prosecutor with an axe to grind.
Shifting gears, Crockett played the innocence card in reverse, questioning Trump’s pushback against releasing certain files.
“So while we don’t know exactly what crimes he may or may not have committed, just think of it this way,” she said, setting up her gotcha moment.
She continued: “If you know that you didn’t do anything. Then why is it that you would be twisting members of your own party’s arms, trying to get them not to release it?”
Wrapping up her rant, Crockett added: “This would be exonerating. If you know that you are free and clear, then why not say, you know what, release the files?”
This whole exchange reeks of desperation from the left. Real Americans see through this charade. Trump didn’t drain the swamp without making enemies, and these constant attacks only prove how much the elites fear him.
