Iran rocks Donald Trump with a ominous threat he can’t ignore

Trump is seen as a major enemy by Iran. They want to defeat him.

And Iran rocked Donald Trump with an ominous threat he can’t ignore.

Iran’s judiciary has vowed to hunt down and “punish” President Trump along with Israeli officials for supposedly fueling the massive protests rocking the Islamic Republic. This empty threat from Tehran’s top judges highlights just how cornered the mullahs feel as their iron-fisted rule faces real pushback from fed-up Iranians.

The declaration came straight from Iran’s judiciary chief, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje’i, who fired off a heated post on their official X account. He flat-out accused Washington and Jerusalem of propping up “terrorists” behind the chaos that’s swept the nation, turning peaceful strikes into a full-blown challenge to the ayatollahs’ power.

Written in Persian but clear as day in its hostility, the statement pulls no punches. It names President Trump and leaders of what they call the “Zionist regime” as key culprits in the so-called “crimes” tied to the unrest.

“The President of the United States, the leaders of the accursed Zionist regime, and other supporters and providers of military and propaganda support to the criminals and terrorists involved in recent events are among the offenders who, in accordance with the extent and scale of their crimes, will be pursued, tried, and punished,” the post on X stated.

Mohseni-Eje’i doubled down, insisting that Iran won’t let up on chasing these figures through their own courts or whatever international avenues they can scrape together. “We will not abandon the pursuit and prosecution of the perpetrators of the recent crimes in domestic courts and through international channels,” he said.

This latest rant follows almost three weeks of nonstop turmoil inside Iran, with protests and strikes spreading like wildfire. Top officials in Tehran have ramped up their anti-American bluster, trying to paint the U.S. as the big bad wolf behind their homegrown messes.

Just a day earlier, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian pointed fingers at America for the country’s woes, slamming what he called “inhumane” sanctions. He went further, threatening that any move against Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei would spark an “all-out war” against the entire Iranian people.

Tehran’s strategy seems geared toward whipping up loyalty for Khamenei while dodging responsibility for the mess they’ve created. By pinning it all on foreign enemies, especially the U.S., they’re hoping to distract from the real issues boiling over at home.

Recently, Khamenei himself jumped in, blaming President Trump for stirring up the violent clashes. He branded Trump “guilty” of the bloodshed and boasted that “The Iranian nation defeated the U.S.”

Khamenei didn’t stop there, issuing a stark warning that “the U.S. must be held accountable” and even predicting that Trump will be “brought down.” It’s the kind of wild talk that shows how rattled the regime is.

The protests kicked off with merchant strikes in Tehran but quickly ballooned into a nationwide uprising. Reports indicate over 16,000 demonstrators have lost their lives as the government enforces brutal crackdowns, mass detentions, and even blanket internet shutdowns to hide the carnage.

Yet, despite Tehran’s frantic efforts to shift the blame to Washington, everyone knows the truth: this explosion of anger stems from a bungled economy, stifling political control, and the regime’s inability to stop the rial from crashing hard.

President Trump isn’t buying their excuses. On Saturday, he shot back with a call for fresh faces at the top in Iran, slamming Khamenei and insisting the regime’s downfall comes from their own rotten policies, not outside interference. “It’s time to look for new leadership in Iran,” Trump stated.

As the standoff heats up, the U.S. isn’t just talking tough—it’s backing it up with real muscle on the military and financial stage.

The Pentagon announced the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is heading back to the Middle East from the Indo-Pacific, beefing up U.S. forces to handle any flare-ups from Iran’s instability.

Defense brass made it clear this shift aims to keep America ready for quick action as threats pile up in the region, all thanks to Tehran’s reckless behavior.

Meanwhile, on the economic side, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent rolled out tough new sanctions hitting high-ranking Iranian officials and their shady money networks.

He likened Iran’s bosses to “rats fleeing a sinking ship” as they scramble to stash millions overseas, all while dodging blame for their crackdowns and rogue nuclear pursuits.
