Joe Biden’s declaration of war just backfired in the worst way possible

President Biden is the definition of a lame duck President. But he’s making insane moves.

And now Joe Biden’s declaration of war just backfired in the worst way possible.

The Joe Biden and Kamala Harris administration received a ton of backlash after it was announced that Joe Biden would let Ukraine to use US-supplied missiles for deeper penetration into Russian-owned land. This was a major development because Joe Biden had previously said he would not endorse this decision.

Months later, that’s out the window and the Bided administration’s allowing it. Foreign policy commentators and experts immediately questioned the decision, with some saying it was a blatant decision to embrace war rather than a decision to seek to end the war between Ukraine and Russia.

Well now the consequences are already coming and it’s not looking good. Joe Biden’s administration has put the whole world in nuclear harm’s way because of this war escalation decision to allow US missiles to be used against Russia on their own territory.

Putin Revises Nuclear Doctrine Amid Tensions Over U.S. Support for Ukraine

On Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin revised Russia’s nuclear doctrine, lowering the threshold for the potential use of nuclear weapons. This announcement came just as the Russian military reported that Ukraine had fired long-range missiles into Russian territory, reportedly supplied by the United States.

The new nuclear doctrine formalizes a significant shift in Russia’s stance on the use of nuclear weapons. Under the revised policy, Russia now asserts the right to use nuclear weapons in response to an attack from a non-nuclear state if that state is supported by a nuclear power. This policy change appears to be a direct reference to the United States’ ongoing military assistance to Ukraine. The update to the doctrine aligns with a statement Putin made in September, during a televised meeting with top Russian officials.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov explained the timing of the revised doctrine, noting that it had been prepared in advance. “President [Vladimir Putin] gave the relevant instructions prior. The president himself stated that the preparation of the amendments was in the final stage. The updated document was released on schedule,” Peskov said, as reported by the state-run news agency Tass.

In addressing whether the document’s publication was linked to reports that U.S. President Joe Biden might permit Ukraine to strike deeper into Russian territory with American-made missiles, Peskov reaffirmed that the doctrine makes it clear that an attack on Russia using Western-supplied weapons, such as missiles from the U.S., could provoke a nuclear response.

Throughout the course of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which began in February 2022, Putin has repeatedly warned of the possibility of escalating the conflict to a nuclear level. This latest revision of the nuclear doctrine only intensifies concerns about the potential for further escalation.

Ukraine Launches ATACMS Missiles into Russia

The same day Putin revised the nuclear doctrine, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Ukraine had launched six U.S.-made ATACMS missiles into the Bryansk region, located in western Russia, near the border with Ukraine. According to the Russian defense ministry, the missiles targeted a military facility, causing a fire that was later extinguished.

“According to confirmed data, American-made ATACMS operational-tactical missiles were used,” the Russian military announced on Telegram. They reported that fragments of the ATACMS missiles struck a technical area of the military facility in Bryansk.

Ukraine, on the other hand, confirmed the strike but did not specify which weapons were used. The Ukrainian military claimed that the attack had hit an ammunition warehouse in Bryansk, near the city of Karachev, causing at least 12 secondary explosions. Both Russia’s and Ukraine’s reports on the attack could not be independently verified.

The U.S. government, for its part, declined to confirm reports that President Biden had authorized Ukraine to target Russian soil with ATACMS missiles. When asked about the potential policy change, State Department spokesman Matthew Miller responded, “I’m not going to speak to or confirm any policy changes. But when you look at escalation of this conflict, it has been Russia that has escalated the conflict time and time again.”

Miller pointed out Russia’s recent actions, including the recruitment of more than 11,000 North Korean soldiers to fight on the front lines in Kursk. “That includes just in the recent month when Russia recruited the deployment of more than 11,000 North Korean soldiers who are now on the front lines in Kursk engaging in combat operations against the Ukrainian military,” he said.

Ukraine Marks 1,000 Days of War

As the war in Ukraine enters its 1,000th day, President Volodymyr Zelensky marked the milestone by emphasizing his nation’s resilience and calling for continued unity in the face of Russia’s aggression.

“Victory is impossible in isolation. Only in unity can we achieve it. This is a war that determines the fate of our entire nation. And no one should and will be able to solve it for us. Ukraine has been and will be an independent state with its own destiny,” Zelensky said in his address.

The Ukrainian president framed the war as not only a struggle for Ukraine’s survival, but for the future of Europe and the world. “This is not just about individual cities or regions. This battle is about all of Ukraine, all of Europe, about order or chaos for the entire world,” he declared. “While the world waits for a miracle from Trump, we must work—relentlessly, every single day. As a whole nation, we must strengthen the resilience of our entire state.”
