Democrats despise former President Donald Trump. Because of that, they also loathe those who support him.
And a Leftist Governor spat in the face of Trump supporters by making this deranged statement.
Who can forget the time when then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton called supporters of Donald Trump, a “basket of deplorables” in 2016?
That was viewed as a major blunder by Clinton, who effectively labeled half of the nation as “deplorable.”
Her comments would end up contributing to her downfall in the 2016 presidential election.
But apparently she didn’t learn her lesson, because just last year, she called for Trump supporters to be reeducated through a “formal deprogramming.”
“At some point maybe there needs to be a formal deprogramming of the cult members,” Clinton said during an interview with CNN in 2023.

And now, another Leftist has made similar comments.
During a recent interview on MSNBC’s “Deadline,” Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA) went after Republicans who support Trump, calling them “profoundly and pathetically weak people.”
“When Donald Trump sued us to try to first stop people from voting then had their votes count, he and his allies sued us 42 times. We went 43-0. We had a free and fair, safe and secure election,” Shapiro began during his rant.
“Then look at the ballot box while Donald Trump squeaked out a victory in 2016 in Pennsylvania by just over 40,000 votes, in every subsequent election, either Donald trump or his hand picked candidate lost. They lost for governor, they lost for United States Senate, H*ll, they even lost for school board in some cases.”
“This is a guy who has lost every step of the way, yet these people keep following him.”
But then Shapiro continued, arguing that Republicans who are supporters of Donald Trump are unhinged themselves.
“I had to laugh today when some of those senators were like standing up there applauding him. The same people that were saying after January 6th that he didn’t have a place there, that he had stoked violence against them,” the Democrat governor added.
“Now they’re lining up and just showing themselves to be profoundly and pathetically weak people who don’t swear allegiance to a flag, but to Donald Trump.”
It looks as though Democrats, like Gov. Shapiro, continue to alienate half the country because of their support of Donald Trump.
And while Shapiro may have specifically been referring to GOP legislators, his comments a certain to strike a nerve with voters who plan on casting their ballots for Trump on election day.
“Why they continue to follow him in many ways is a reflection on just the weak people that they are more than anything else,” Shapiro concluded.
It’s high past time for the Left to stop dividing the nation with their rhetoric.
They do the exact same thing that they accuse Republicans of doing.
But hypocrisy is no doubt a signature characteristic of the Democrat Party.
