Tim Walz has a lot of baggage that he brought with him to the Harris campaign. But the liberal media is working night and day to help defend him.
And this Leftist news outlet was found covering up for Tim Walz in a shocking exposé.
During the debate between Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) and Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz on Tuesday, many viewers couldn’t help but notice Walz’s seemingly nervous demeanor. He stumbled through his opening remarks, his eyes wide open as if in shock. However, an article published by POLITICO on Wednesday presented a different take, with a “body language expert” arguing that Walz’s wide eyes were not a sign of anxiety, but rather of “passion.”
“When Walz felt especially passionate about something, he’d open his eyes wide as saucers,” Navarro explained. “Eye-popping can sometimes be a sign of surprise, but for Walz, it simply revealed his emotional intensity.”

He's completely falling apart.
You can tell JD Vance knows it's happening!

Navarro went on to add that these facial expressions have deep evolutionary roots. “Early humans would have made such facial gestures to communicate strong emotions, like ‘danger is close.’ For Walz, it gave extra weight to his feelings and held our gaze,” he wrote.
Interestingly, the article also delved into Sen. Vance’s appearance, specifically his beard. According to Navarro, “voters see beards as (surprise, surprise) more masculine.” This, he suggested, can elicit mixed reactions. “That can be positive to some, reading as strength and competence. But to others, especially women, it can be negative, conveying aggression and opposition to feminist ideals.”
The analysis didn’t stop there, as Vance’s hand movements and stern facial expressions were noted, as well as Walz’s furrowing eyebrows and moments where he pointed directly at the camera. However, it was the commentary on Walz’s wide eyes that caused the most buzz on social media, with many conservatives mocking the analysis.
“Politico doing Politico things. lol,” Blaze Media CEO Tyler Cardon quipped on social media.

“lol how is this real,” Babylon Bee Managing Editor Joel Berry added, poking fun at the interpretation.
BlazeTV host Steve Deace also joined the chorus of criticism, remarking, “Hard to believe this publication once paid me to write for them.”
Despite this lighter, more humorous response online, political commentators had a more serious take on Walz’s performance. ABC’s Linsey Davis likened it to Joe Biden’s performance during a debate against Donald Trump in 2020, commenting, “It kind of reminded me of the June 27 debate when Kamala Harris that night said of Joe Biden, ‘It was a slow start but a strong finish.’ And that’s how I felt Tim Walz kind of did tonight.” She went on to say, “There were some uncomfortable, some cringy moments.”

CNN contributor Scott Jennings added his critique, humorously noting, “I’ll say this for Walz, he has perfected a look of sheer terror and complete bafflement all at the same time.”
Ben Shapiro, Editor Emeritus of The Daily Wire, was also among the critics, saying, “Walz looks as though he’s been detained by a police officer for shoplifting.”
It’s ridiculous that the media still finds ways to defend and cover for the many errors the Harris/Walz campaign makes.
They never want to fully admit when either Kamala Harris or Tim Walz stumbles over themselves either in an interview or on the debate stage.
In the Leftist media’s eyes, these two Democratic candidates can do no wrong.
