Donald Trump continues to draw the wrath of the Democrats. They will never stop hating him.
And a leftist senator claimed Trump is doing one heinous thing to America.
Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona just delivered another lecture from the Democrat playbook, this time on MS NOW’s “The Last Word.”
The former astronaut turned politician declared that President Trump is “ruining this country.”
That line alone tells you everything about the mindset of the permanent political class in Washington.
Kelly went further, painting a picture of widespread hardship while blaming the current administration for every grocery bill and gas receipt.
He stated, “Half of the country’s having a hard time affording food. People can’t fill their tank up. I had a mom who was having a hard time getting her kid to cancer treatment because of the price of a gallon of gas, and this president is wasting his time on ballrooms and arches and putting banners up on buildings with his giant head on them.”
Notice how quickly the conversation shifts from real American struggles to personal digs about buildings and banners.
That is the tell. When Democrats run out of policy arguments, they reach for the mockery.
Working families do face pressure at the pump and at the store. Yet Kelly skips right past the years of energy restrictions, open borders, and spending sprees that drove those costs higher in the first place.
He continued with the same tone of elite exasperation:
“I mean, it is just insulting to average Americans who just can’t afford to get by anymore. And then he starts this war in Iran without a strategic goal or a plan. He’s stuck. He has no idea what to do, and the price of energy is going to continue to go up. And with that, so goes the price of everything else, especially food.”
“I mean, this has just been one disaster after the next of a presidency. And I wish, I just wish there was somebody around him that would tell him that he is ruining this country and that he’s got to make better decisions. He’s got to focus on the things that that matter to the American people, and not all this crap that he focuses, spends most of his time on.”
There it is in full. A sitting U.S. senator claims the president launched a war without a plan, then pivots back to food prices as if the two are inseparable.
The Iran claim deserves a hard look. Presidents of both parties have confronted Iranian aggression for decades.
Suggesting the current one simply wandered into conflict with no purpose is the kind of talk that plays well on cable news panels but collapses under actual scrutiny of deterrence and national interest.
