The Leftist media outlet despises Trump. They want to make life difficult for him in every way possible.

And NBC is sending Donald Trump the worst inauguration gift imaginable.

Yamiche Alcindor Returns to White House Beat for NBC News, Sparking Debate Over Bias

Leftist journalist Yamiche Alcindor announced on Monday that she will return to the White House beat for NBC News to cover the incoming Trump administration after an extended break from the role.

“I’m heading back to the White House beat for @NBCNews to cover the second Trump administration. It’s a true honor to be a journalist, and I welcome all news tips and story ideas,” Alcindor said in a post on X.

Alcindor, known for her tenure as a PBS White House correspondent and New York Times reporter during Donald Trump’s first term, has been frequently accused of partisan bias. During that time, she regularly engaged in contentious exchanges with Trump.

Alcindor became the White House correspondent for PBS NewsHour in 2018 and joined NBC News as a Washington correspondent in 2021. Despite her new roles, critics argue her history of left-leaning commentary persisted. Months before her move to NBC, Alcindor made waves by stating she believed it was her duty as a journalist to bend the “moral arc toward justice.”

Throughout her career, Alcindor has gained a reputation for incorporating liberal perspectives into her reporting. Her coverage of the Trump administration often included pointed critiques, which endeared her to some and alienated others. Trump’s own rebukes of Alcindor, including calling one of her questions “racist,” further elevated her profile among progressive circles.

In contrast, Alcindor’s tone shifted dramatically with the transition to the Biden administration. She frequently praised President Biden and his team, including deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

At Biden’s first press conference, Alcindor described him as a “moral, decent man” and posed questions focused on healing diplomatic “scars” left by Trump in Europe.

Her commentary often contrasted the two administrations, with Alcindor remarking in 2021 that Biden officials highlighted a renewed emphasis on America’s leadership and alliance-building, which she said was “lost” under Trump.

Critics noted that while Alcindor often added “context” when reporting on Trump, she rarely applied the same scrutiny to Biden’s statements.

In her role at NBC, Alcindor has faced backlash for what some describe as overtly partisan reporting. For instance, she was accused of making “propagandistic” comments about Biden and amplifying Democratic talking points.

She also drew criticism for her remarks about potential consequences if Roe v. Wade was overturned, and for suggesting in 2022 that Georgia’s voting laws reflected Republican beliefs that Black individuals don’t deserve citizenship access.

Her announcement about returning to the White House drew mixed reactions online. Some celebrated her as a tenacious journalist, while others questioned NBC’s decision to appoint her to such a prominent role.

“Wow, good to see @NBCNews has learned— *checks notes* —nothing. They’ve learned absolutely nothing from their mistakes,” John Hasson, a conservative writer, said in a post on X.

Former GOP congressional candidate Kim Klacik echoed the sentiment: “Ridiculous. You were terrible & extremely combative. It’s as if @NBCNews wants to go out of business.”

While Alcindor’s reporting style has long divided public opinion, her return to the White House beat is certain to reignite debates over bias and the role of journalism in covering the Trump administration’s second term.
