Trump isn’t holding back the punches. He’s dead set on telling it like it is no matter what.
And Donald Trump sounds off in a rage-filled rant against leader of this foreign adversary.
Trump Condemns Russian Airstrike on Kyiv, Urges Swift Peace Agreement
In a fiery rebuke, U.S. President Donald Trump condemned Russia’s massive overnight airstrike on Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital, labeling it unnecessary and ill-timed. The attack, which claimed at least nine lives, prompted Trump to call for an urgent peace agreement to halt the escalating conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
The assault, described by Ukrainian officials as the most intense on Kyiv since July 2024, forced Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky to cut short a diplomatic visit to South Africa. The 11-hour barrage involved hundreds of missiles and drones, targeting the capital and seven other regions.
Ukrainian authorities reported significant destruction, with at least 80 people injured and a dozen still missing, potentially trapped under collapsed buildings. Of the injured, 31 were hospitalized, including five children.
Trump, visibly frustrated by the prolonged conflict, took to social media to express his discontent. “I am not happy with the Russian strikes on KYIV. Not necessary, and very bad timing. Vladimir, STOP!” he declared. Highlighting the staggering toll of the war, with 5,000 soldiers dying weekly, he pressed for resolution, stating, “Let’s get the peace deal DONE!”

The airstrike began just as Zelensky arrived in South Africa to rally international support. Citing the severity of the attack, he announced his early return to Ukraine after meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Speaking from abroad, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine had already agreed to a U.S.-brokered ceasefire, accusing Russia of targeting civilians. Russia, in response, claimed its strikes focused solely on military targets and dismissed Ukraine’s reports as “propaganda.”
Zelensky detailed the scale of the attack: “Nearly 70 missiles, including ballistic ones. And about 150 attack drones. Unfortunately, there is significant destruction. Rescue operations are ongoing, and the rubble of residential buildings is being cleared. As of this moment, over 80 people have been injured across Ukraine. Everyone is receiving the necessary assistance. Regrettably, 9 people have been k*lled in Kyiv.”
Ukraine’s Air Force Command tracked 215 air targets during the assault, intercepting 48 missiles and 64 drones, with an additional 68 causing no damage. However, approximately 35 missiles penetrated Ukraine’s defenses.
The arsenal included 11 ‘Iskander’ ballistic missiles, 37 ‘Kodiak’ cruise missiles, 12 ‘Kalibir’ missiles, and 145 ‘Shahed’-type drones.
Trump’s Push to End the Russia-Ukraine War
President Trump has made resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict a cornerstone of his foreign policy agenda. Since taking office, he has repeatedly expressed his desire to broker a lasting peace agreement, viewing the war as a drain on global stability and resources.
His frustration with both nations stems from what he perceives as missed opportunities to negotiate an end to hostilities, which have persisted for years, claiming countless lives and displacing millions.
Trump’s approach combines public pressure, as seen in his direct appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin, with behind-the-scenes diplomacy. He has emphasized the human cost of the conflict, frequently citing the staggering death toll as a call to action.
His administration has worked to facilitate ceasefire talks, with the United States playing a pivotal role in mediating discussions between Kyiv and Moscow. Trump’s insistence on a swift resolution reflects his belief that prolonged warfare serves no party’s interests and risks further destabilizing the region.
While the path to peace remains fraught, Trump’s outspoken commitment to ending the war emphasizes his determination to leave a lasting diplomatic legacy.
