President Joe Biden sparked widespread reaction online after making another a verbal misstep during a conversation with reporters on Tuesday.

The 81-year-old president, who stepped down from his re-election campaign in July due to growing concerns about his mental sharpness, found himself at the center of yet another gaffe while discussing his upcoming travel itinerary.

“I’m going up to my granddaughter’s birthday in New York,” Biden stated while standing on the White House lawn, just before boarding Marine One. However, it was his next remark that quickly caught attention: “Then we’re going to watch the debate and tomorrow I’m doing 9/11.”

Though Biden’s phrasing was clumsy at best, he was referring to his planned participation in memorial events commemorating the 23rd anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

These solemn ceremonies are scheduled to take place at Ground Zero in New York City and the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, before concluding with a visit to the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.

Biden’s fumble didn’t escape the watchful eyes of social media users. On X (formerly known as Twitter), RNC Research, managed by the Republican National Committee, reacted swiftly with a simple “YIKES.”

Another prominent account, Libs of TikTok, posted a clip of the president’s comment with the succinct caption, “What?” Meanwhile, Paul Williams, executive director of the Center for Public Enterprise, used the moment to share an image of the Department of Homeland Security’s old color-coded terrorism advisory system, marking “Severe.”

Podcast host Mike Sperrazza chimed in with, “He’s cooked,” seemingly referencing concerns over Biden’s mental state. Others, like a user on X, alleged that “Kamala [Harris] covered this up for 4 years,” further fueling discussions about Biden’s capability to lead.

This latest stumble adds to the growing collection of verbal gaffes that have punctuated Biden’s presidency, many of which have contributed to public doubts about his ability to serve out the remainder of his term.

One particularly damaging moment came in his June 27 debate with former President Donald Trump, where Biden’s lapses in speech and pauses were painfully evident. Following that disastrous appearance, Biden formally withdrew from the race just weeks later, encouraged by senior Democratic officials and major party donors.

She lied to Americans even though they saw that Biden was very obviously suffering from cognitive decline.

But Harris unashamedly gaslit U.S. citizens in order to appease the Democrat machine that’s currently occupying the White House.

She simply wanted to play nice in order to elevate herself to the position she’s in now: the Democratic nominee for president.

But if Americans can’t trust her to tell the truth on the president’s health, then how can they trust her on anything else?
