Donald Trump has broken the Left. They don’t know how to act now that he’s back in power.
And this radical Leftist Congresswoman called Trump a name that will leave you horrified.
At a rally in Phoenix, part of MoveOn’s “Won’t Back Down Tour,” Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, unleashed a call to action, urging Democrats to take a stand against President Donald Trump’s administration. The Texas congresswoman, known for her sharp tongue, shared a vision for a revitalized Democratic Party as the 2026 midterms approach.
“Listen, Donald Trump is a piece of s—. OK, we know that,” Crockett declared, igniting cheers from the audience. Joined by Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., and Rep. Yassamin Ansari, D-Ariz., she spoke at the event organized by MoveOn to rally progressive voters
Crockett expressed unwavering confidence in a Democratic victory in the 2028 presidential race but stressed the need for a strategy. “But what are we going to need to do then?” the radical Leftist asked. “For me, it’s getting aggressive.”
She clarified that this was her personal vision, not a party mandate, and zeroed in on reining in the Supreme Court, which she labeled as “corrupt.” She argued for stronger oversight, stating, “We need to have some real guardrails around this Supreme Court because the Supreme Court has paved the way for half the stuff that we see that’s going on.”
Her critique didn’t stop at Trump. Crockett pointed to Congress and the judiciary as key enablers of his policies.
“But in a functioning democracy, he still would not be able to get away with this. But he’s been able to get away with this because the House Republicans are complicit. He’s been able to get away with this because Senate Republicans are complicit. But most importantly, the courts, especially the Supreme Court, is complicit,” she stated.
She highlighted a lack of accountability, noting, “How much sense does that make when we know that they’re taking money – we have the paper trail – and they refuse to put guardrails on themselves?” Unlike lower courts, she argued, the Supreme Court operates with “no ethics guardrail.”
The Texas lawmaker’s clash with Trump is nothing new. On her X account, she’s branded him a “buffoon” and a “mofo,” a shorthand for a sharper insult.
Trump has hit back, calling her “low IQ” and dismissing her as a symbol of the Democratic future.
Trump’s Grip on the Leftist Psyche
Donald Trump’s presence in American politics has left an indelible mark, particularly on his opponents. For many Leftists, including Crockett, he’s more than a political rival—he’s a symbol of everything they stand against.
This fixation has pushed some on the Left into a state of perpetual outrage, where every rally, speech, or post becomes a chance to confront him head-on.
Crockett’s raw, unfiltered language in Phoenix captures this dynamic: Trump looms so large that he shapes the tone and direction of Leftist rhetoric.
This obsession, while energizing, reveals a deeper struggle. By centering Trump in their narrative, some Democrats risk overshadowing their own vision. Crockett’s latest words rally the base but can drown out substantive policy discussions on issues like healthcare, immigration, and the economy.
The Left’s focus on Trump as a villain often leaves little room for a positive, forward-looking message, making it harder to connect with voters seeking solutions over spectacle.
Yet, this reaction stems from Trump’s unique ability to dominate the conversation. His knack for provocation forces opponents to respond on his terms, amplifying his influence even in their defiance.
For Democrats, the challenge is to break free from this cycle—channeling their passion into a message that inspires rather than merely opposes. As the 2026 midterms and 2028 election near, Democrats must decide whether they can define themselves without Trump as their foil, or risk being consumed by the very force they seek to defeat.
