RINO smacks this presidential candidate with a heinous allegation involving Donald Trump

Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger

Never-Trump Republicans want to do everything to stop a potential second Trump presidential term. They’ll even lob out crazy conspiracy theories to try and destroy him.

And this RINO smacked a presidential candidate with a heinous allegation involving Donald Trump.

Former Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger is one of the because anti-Trump RINOs out there.

Before he left his seat in Congress in 2023, he was on the January 6 Select Committee which tried to hold former President Donald Trump responsible for his alleged crimes and involvement in the January 6, 2021 riots at the U.S. Capitol.

Kinzinger also voted to impeach Trump for his alleged involvement in January 6.

And now he’s lashing out at Trump and his supporters again, but this time at the expense of independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Kinzinger made an appearance on CNN’s “The Source with Kaitlan Collins” on Friday to discuss Kennedy’s recent comments on January 6.

Kennedy said that some “protestors broke the law” that day, but he is “concerned about the possibility that political objectives motivated the vigor of the prosecution of the J6 defendants, their long sentences, and their harsh treatment.”

The former Rep. was not pleased with Kennedy’s comments, and let the viewers on CNN know that by saying, “Look, this – this is one of the more insane ramblings I’ve heard from him and I’ve heard some insane ramblings.”

“His campaign has been hijacked by MAGA. Maybe not ‘hijacked,’ maybe voluntarily. And so, you’re gonna start seeing more and more of this kind of Donald Trump conspiracies, and he’s either going along with it, because that’s gonna help him raise money and get notoriety, or he truly believes it. Regardless, he’s absolutely wrong, and this is a frightening thing.”

Kennedy has also come out in defense of Trump and his alleged responsibility in the Jan. 6 riots, saying that he wishes “to hear every side” and have conversations with “reasonable people, including Trump opponents.”

“They observe that the protestors carried no weapons, had no plans or ability to seize the reins of government, and that Trump himself had urged them to protest ‘peacefully,'” Kennedy said.

Adam Kinzinger doesn’t buy any of that and believes that “This is [Kennedy’s] way of pleasing those that want to hear that he just hasn’t looked at the evidence in detail and winking to the MAGA folks.”

He also believes that Kennedy’s 13% polling numbers won’t hold up “long-term.” CNN host Collins cited a poll that shows the independent candidate is polling 13% nationally, which led to Kinzinger reacting skeptically to that information.

It’s obvious that Kinzinger still holds a bitter grudge against former President Trump.

Not only that but he clearly can’t stand any of his supporters.

There’s no evidence to suggest that Kennedy’s campaign was hijacked by MAGA as Kinzinger suggests.

Maybe Kennedy is trying to approach the Jan. 6 incident with some rational thought, something the former Republican Rep. isn’t capable of.

And speaking of Republicans, maybe it’s time for Kinzinger to go ahead and switch parties and become a Democrat already.
