So many members of the Left have Trump Derangement Syndrome. It basically controls their daily lives.
And a U.S. senator made a rabid statement about Trump during an unhinged interview.
In a desperate bid to smear President Donald Trump, Arizona’s Democrat Senator Mark Kelly unloaded a barrage of insults during a virtual chat with former CNN host Jim Acosta. Kelly, who’s no stranger to playing the victim card, painted Trump as some out-of-touch elitist who doesn’t get what real America is all about.
Kelly didn’t hold back, ranting that Trump’s time in office has been nothing short of a disaster for the nation. He accused the president of being clueless about the basics of our government and society.
It’s classic Democrat playbook: attack the man who’s fighting for everyday Americans instead of addressing their own failures.
“I don’t think Donald Trump has read the Constitution. I think he’s ignorant to it,” Kelly said.
The Arizona senator kept piling on, claiming Trump lacks a true grasp of patriotism. “He’s ignorant to a lot. I don’t think he understands that this is the foundation of our democracy,” Kelly sneered.
Then Kelly got personal, dragging family military service into the mix to prop himself up.
“I don’t think he understands what it is to be an American,” he said. He also added that “nobody in his family has ever served in our military.”
Kelly, a former Navy captain, bragged about his military lineage like it makes him untouchable.
He couldn’t resist taking a shot at Trump’s background. “Donald Trump — nothing,” Kelly stated.
Kelly then turned his fire on Trump’s loyal base, pretending to pity them while insulting their intelligence.
“I mean, all this guy cares about is figuring out how he can fleece the American people out of their money, including his supporters. I feel really bad for those folks,” he stated.
The interview clip wrapped with Kelly doubling down on his hatred. He declared that “this presidency has been a travesty for this country.”
And here’s the punchline: Kelly is currently under investigation by the Department of War because he starred in a video with other Democrats telling active-duty troops to “refuse illegal orders” from the Trump administration. That’s not whistleblowing, that’s textbook sedition.
When speaking about the probe on Rachel Maddow’s show, Kelly called the whole thing “almost comical.”
Nothing says “I respect the troops” quite like urging them to mutiny and then basically laughing when you get caught.
This is peak Democrat privilege: brag about your own medals, then tell the military to ignore the Commander-in-Chief the moment your side loses an election.
