Vance is losing his patience. And rightfully so.
Because Vice President Vance demanded Republicans to do this one thing.
Vice President JD Vance stood before a fired-up crowd at a Turning Point USA event in Georgia and delivered a no-nonsense challenge to conservatives across the country. He demanded they throw themselves harder into the political trenches to ram through the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility Act, better known as the SAVE Act. This legislation stands as a vital shield for American elections, ensuring only citizens cast ballots in the greatest republic on earth.
Vance zeroed in on a dangerous habit he sees spreading among young America First warriors. Too many slip into deep cynicism and outright pessimism when Washington drags its feet or fails to deliver fast enough on core promises.
Instead of throwing up their hands, Vance laid out the only path forward that actually wins. Patriots facing a politician, a movement, or an entire administration that falls short have exactly two options. They can quit the fight entirely or charge in deeper and force real change through relentless pressure.
“I’m sure that I’ve said mostly things that you agree with, and I’m sure that I’ve said some things you may not agree with. And, you may not agree with everything I say about the Iran negotiation,” Vance stated.
“But, here’s fundamentally the issue. When you see a politician, or you see a political movement, or you see an administration that isn’t doing what you want to do, you have two choices.”
“You can say, ‘Awh to h*ll with those people’ and check out of the process, or you can say, ‘You know what, I’m going to get more involved. I’m going to make my voice heard even more. I’m going to pressure that administration to do exactly what I want them to do because they got my vote, they earned my vote, but they can’t take it for granted.’”
Vance openly admitted that plenty of young voters remain unhappy with certain Trump administration moves in the Middle East.
Yet he quickly reminded the audience of the massive victories already secured under that same leadership: a locked-down southern border and housing costs finally heading in the right direction for working families.
“I’m not saying you have to agree with me on every issue,” Vance said.
“What I’m saying is don’t get disengaged because you disagree with the administration on one topic. Get more involved. Make your voice heard even more. That’s how we ultimately take the country back.”
Vance turned straight to the SAVE Act to drive his point home with crystal clarity. The bill would crack down hard on non-citizen voting and restore integrity to American elections, yet a handful of Republican turncoats keep teaming up with Democrats to block it. He called out the frustration head-on while refusing to let it become an excuse for surrender.
“A lot of people want the SAVE Act,” Vance continued. “I want the SAVE Act. I’ve been fighting for the SAVE Act literally since day one of the administration. I’ve seen a lot of people saying, ‘What the h*ll is the point of voting for these guys if you’ve got three Republicans joining with the Democrats to prevent the SAVE Act from passing?’”
“I guess four Republicans. Here’s my response to that: Yes, it is annoying to me that there are only 45 or 46 Republicans who will fight politically to get the SAVE Act passed. You know what? Ten years ago, that number was 35. So, the answer to frustration is engagement. Don’t give up on this process. Get more involved in this process, and demand more from people like me.”
The numbers tell the real story of slow but steady gains against the swamp. Where once only 35 House Republicans stood ready to battle for election security, that number has climbed to 45 or 46 today. Vance insists this progress proves the fight is winnable if everyday patriots refuse to walk away.
