President Biden has had some questionable moments on camera. But this one takes the cake.
Because Joe Biden got handsy with a reporter in this disturbing clip.
During a rare interview that aired early Wednesday, President Biden was bugging out.
In an awkward moment during his interview with The Weather Channel, the 80-year-old commander-in-chief leaned out and brushed an insect off meteorologist Stephanie Abrams’ chest.
Biden, who has long been accused of being excessively sensitive, was deflecting a question about why he hasn’t declared a national emergency over climate change when he noticed the errant insect crawling on Abrams’ suit jacket.
“Oh, you’ve got a bug on you,” he grumbled, reaching out and flicking the insect off Abrams’ upper chest.
“Thanks, appreciate it,” the interviewer said, before rapidly stirring the conversation back to climate.
Biden has committed to “be more mindful” of personal space after being accused of improper hugs, rubs, and caresses by many women.
He blamed changing “social norms” for his now-unacceptable behavior.
“I get it. I hear what they’re saying, I understand it and I’ll be much more mindful,” he said in 2019.
Just before the unexpected interruption, Abrams pressed Biden on whether he was willing to declare a national emergency on climate change, which would give the president temporary executive powers to increase renewable energy production, free up federal funds for disaster relief, and limit oil drilling and US investment in fossil fuels.
“Already done that,” Biden shot back.
“Nationally, we’ve conserved more land, we’ve moved in to rejoin the Paris Climate Accord. We’ve passed the $360 billion climate control facility. We’re moving. It is the existential threat.”
Abrams questioned the 46th president further on the matter, asking, “So you’ve already declared that a national emergency?”
“Well, practically speaking. Yes,” Biden replied.
Back in the studio, The Weather Channel’s America’s Morning Headquarters host fact-checked the president live on air, noting that “despite requests from some Democratic leaders, the President has not yet declared a national climate emergency.”
Maybe The Weather Channel should focus more on defending its reporters from getting groped instead of peddling climate alarmism.
Just a thought.
