It seems nearly impossible for the President to keep his foot out of his mouth. But no one expected him to say this.
And Joe Biden made this bald-faced lie that will fill you with rage.
It’s no secret that the economy has been on a steady decline since President Biden took office in January of 2021.
Inflation and gas prices have soared, with many Americans hoping for light at the end of the tunnel.
According to the Daily Wire, “Americans paid $709 more dollars for basic goods and services in July 2023 than they did in July 2021, which was just months into Biden’s time in office.”
“The spending was also 202 dollars more than July 2022, according to Mark Zandi, the chief economic analyst for Moody’s Analytics.”
But in a speech on Tuesday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, President Biden completely ignored these statistics by bragging that inflation is actually going down thanks to the work of “Bidenomics”.
“In case you haven’t noticed, inflation is down, too – and it’s going lower,” said the President.

With a habit of rambling on, Biden didn’t stop there.
“We have the strongest economy in the world. You’re looking at me a little skeptical, but I promise you. Check it out.”

In a social media post, Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy (R) had this to say about the President’s attempt to flaunt economic success, “Real wages are down and gas prices are up. You are paying the price for failed leadership.”
And while his speech in Milwaukee served as an anniversary celebration of the passage of the “Inflation Reduction Act”, even Biden knows the wording of the law is a sham.
“I wish I hadn’t called it that because it has less to do with reducing inflation than it has to do with providing alternatives that generate economic growth,” said President Biden.
But that didn’t stop Joe Biden from celebrating the law that contributed billions of dollars to green energy and contributed nothing to lowering inflation.
Even Harvard University economist, Jason Furman agreed that the law has done nothing to ease the pressure of rising inflation for Americans.
“I can’t think of any mechanism by which it would have brought down inflation to date.”
While Biden continues to take a victory lap, Americans instead are suffering the price of “Bidenomics” and his administration’s willingness to prioritize green energy over a healthy economy.
