As one of the biggest names in politics, Trump has a big target on his back. But these days it seems like that target is only getting bigger.
And Donald Trump was betrayed in a truly shocking way.
Former President Trump has been caught up in loads of legal trouble since leaving office in January of 2021.
One of those legal issues is his indictment for storing classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
There are many witnesses in the case, with some testifying on the side of the former President, and some testifying against him.
However, recently a witness has changed his tune with the direction he wants to testify.
According to the Daily Wire, “An employee at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate flipped and is now testifying against the former president in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s criminal prosecution of the former president’s handling of classified records after leaving office.”
“The employee – identified in court documents as ‘Trump Employee 4’ – quickly changed his grand jury testimony after a meeting with a lawyer from the federal defender’s office in Washington, D.C., in which he decided that he no longer wanted to be represented by a lawyer paid for by Trump’s political action committee and who was recommended to him by Trump’s lawyer.”

Thanks to an updated indictment in the Mar-a-Lago case, Trump is now being charged for allegedly asking a staff member to delete security footage from the estate.
Trump Employee 4, an information technology director at the Mar-a-Lago, originally told a grand jury that he knew nothing about footage being deleted.
But the employee quickly changed his tune once he found out he was being investigated and his lawyer was a possible conflict of interest.
Trump Employee 4 was also likely spooked due to a potential charge of perjury if his testimony was not changed.
“The U.S. government approached Stanley Woodward, the lawyer representing Trump Employee 4, to notify him that he had a potential conflict by representing him and Walt Nauta, the Trump aide accused of conspiring with Trump to obstruct the grand jury investigation into Trump’s handling of classified material,” said the Daily Wire.
“Smith’s team explained that the letter to Trump Employee 4 officially created the conflict of interest for Woodward because if he advised Trump Employee 4 to correct his sworn testimony that would incriminate Nauta and if he advised that Trump Employee 4 not correct his statement that would leave him open to criminal prosecution.”
Donald Trump has a big mess on his hands.
And it’s not getting cleaned up anytime soon with federal prosecutors breathing down his neck and the necks of his Mar-a-Lago staff.
Despite Trump pleading not guilty to the classified documents case, it’s yet to be seen if more employees come out to testify against him or not.
One thing is for certain, is that Former President Trump is going to use the targeted attacks against him to continue to gain support as a front-runner for the Republican nomination for President.
