Trump’s presidential campaign has gotten off to a fast start. He’s been able to soar ahead in the polls.
But this report could change everything for Donald Trump’s campaign.
Former President Donald Trump has notably been absent from each of the three Republican primary debates thus far.
He has no intentions of joining any of the future debates as his poll numbers are so high, he feels like he has nothing to gain from a debate appearance with his competitors.
On Wednesday night, the third Republican debate occurred in Miami, Florida.
And instead of participating, Trump held a nearby rally where he was joined by his former White House Press secretary, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR).
Sanders wasn’t just there to make a simple appearance, she was also there to give her endorsement to Donald Trump for president of the United States.
“We’ve got out-of-control inflation, violent crime, an open border, a rising China. Biden and the Left have failed over and over again, and they know it and you know it, and it is time for a change,” Sanders said.
“That is why tonight, I am so proud to endorse my former boss, my friend, and everybody’s favorite president, Donald J. Trump.”

She continued to boast Trump’s record as president during his first term, saying it’s “because he’s not afraid to be an outsider, a change agent, a disruptor.”
“He put America first, the first president in a long time to do exactly what he said he was going to do. He’s the complete and total opposite of Joe Biden, the corrupt Washington insider.”
The former president thanks deemed Sanders’ endorsement as “wonderful.” Meanwhile, the crowd chanted “We want Trump!” after the Arkansas governor gave her full support.
The decision by Sarah Huckabee Sanders to endorse Trump this week comes after Governor Kim Reynolds (R-IA) endorsed Ron DeSantis as the Republican nominee.
Both announcements by the governors were not meant to compete with one another, but Trump is likely hoping it overshadows Reynolds’ support for DeSantis, as the current Florida governor is currently in second place in the primary polls.
Sanders’ endorsement is also a blow to another Republican candidate for president, former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson.
Hutchinson didn’t qualify for the second and third debates and is considered a long-shot candidate as he’s polling at less than one percent.
But as more big-name Republicans throw their support behind Donald Trump, he will only gain more and more momentum for his campaign.
According to a CBS News/YouGov poll, Trump is sitting at a commanding 61%.
