The GOP has had enough. They’re ready for this radical-Leftist to vacate office.
And a Democrat representative could be facing the end of their career after this announcement by Republicans.
Congresswoman and Squad member, Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) has been the subject of much controversy every since the October 7 attack by Hamas on Israel.
Tlaib has been vocal in her desire for a ceasefire, while also falsely accusing Israel of bombing a hospital in Gaza, even though U.S. intelligence determined Hamas was responsible.
And now Republican Michigan state senators have had enough.
Last Wednesday, all of the GOP state senators signed a resolution that calls for Tlaib’s resignation for her comments that they deemed as anti-Israel.
State Senate Minority Leader Aric Nesbitt brought forth the resolution and said in an X post that the U.S. congresswoman is “not fit to serve” in the lower chamber of Congress.
“Congresswoman Tlaib is not fit to serve within the dignified office she holds, and Michigan’s leaders should unite their voices in calling for her resignation,” Nesbitt’s post on X said.
“This is not a partisan issue, but an issue of common moral decency.”

The resolution by the Michigan state Republican senators, stated, “Whereas, United States Representatives Rashida Tlaib, elected to serve Michigan’s 12th Congressional District in the 118th Congress, has responded to these terrorist attacks in an insensitive and inappropriate fashion.”
“Representative Tlaib refused to condemn Hamas in her initial response to the October 7 attacks.”
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) recently brought forth a measure to censure Tlaib, though it didn’t receive the required votes to pass, as some Republicans voted against it due to its inaccurate language.
There are still plans to try and censure Tlaib however, and now with calls for her resignation, the congresswoman will have to find a way to ward off all of the attempts at punishing her for her inappropriate actions regarding the Israel-Hamas war.
“Representative Tlaib’s hurtful comments and behavior have been widely condemned by people of multiple faiths and elected officials from both parties,” the resolution continued.
“Her statements have caused great pain for untold numbers of Michiganders, including many of the over 87,000 Jewish Americans and 25,000 Israeli citizens who call this state home.”
Requests by the Detriot News for a comment about the resolution were declined by Rep. Tlaib.
“I will not be silenced,” Tlaib said last week about her potential being censured.
“The idea that criticizing the government of Israel is antisemitic sets a very dangerous precedent, and it’s being used to silence diverse voices speaking up for human rights across our nation.”
