The White House is fuming after President Biden was double-crossed by this Leftist

The 2024 elections are coming up quickly. Democrats are starting to fear for the worst.

And the White House is fuming after President Biden was double-crossed by this Leftist.

Joe Biden is becoming more unpopular by the day.

His age has created a growing concern among the Democrat Party that he may not be able to fulfill his presidential duties should he win in 2024.

Biden recently turned 81 years old and would be 86 by the time he left office at the end of potential second term.

And some Leftists believe that President Biden appearing at the top of the Democrat ticket next November could hurt their ability to win their own races.

Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) is one of those Leftists who is running for Senate and is worried that Biden will cause her to lose her election.

“Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.), who is running for the state’s open Senate seat, has expressed concern to allies that she may not be able to win her race if Biden is at the top of the ticket,” sources told the Washington Post.

Even though Slotkin has her worries about next year’s elections, a spokesman for her told the Washington Post that she “looks forward to running with President Biden.”

There are 34 seats that are up for reelection in the U.S. Senate. 23 of those seats are occupied by Democrats or independents who align with the Left.

Only two seats are needed to flip Republican if they are to take control of the Senate.

The U.S. House could also be a toss-up between Republicans and Democrats.

The GOP only has a slim majority right now, but if Slotkin’s assessment is correct, that majority could expand further with Biden discouraging Leftist voters from voting for other Democrats down the ballot.

President Biden’s approval rating continues to decline which is worrying other staunch liberals, such as former Barack Obama adviser, David Axelrod.

“You know, job approval down, ratings generally down most of the comparatives with Trump…not good,” Axelrod said on an episode of the Hacks on Tap podcast.

“You know what I worry about…from a Biden standpoint is there are the kinds of things you get when people are starting to rationalize their votes – ‘Oh, look. They’re ready to fire Biden. That’s a problem,” he continued.

“And they just put out another photo op with the Bidenomics sign next to him. …It’s just unbelievable to me.”

Biden’s record on the economy has been abysmal. It could very well be the deciding factor in whether or not he wins a second term as president.

But it could also determine how many seats Democrats are able to win in both chambers of Congress.
