The president’s relationship with reporters and the media has been rocky, to say the least. He’s become more and more agitated with them in recent months.
And Biden explodes into a fit of rage after being confronted during a press conference.
While speaking at a joint press conference at the White House with Kenyan President William Ruto, President Joe Biden lashed out at the press because they “never keep the deal.”
The president made the comment after a reporter asked a second question despite being told by Biden to just ask one.
“Thank you, Mr. President. Two questions, if I may,” said Michael Wilner, the reporter in question.
“No, one!” Biden barked back. The audience at the press conference thought the president was joking and laughed in response.
Wilner began his first question, which was about the United States helping keep peace in Haiti.
“And on Israel,” Wilner said before he was interrupted by President Biden.
“One question. I’ll answer your question,” Biden said. He then read off a scripted answer to Wilner’s question on Haiti.
Joe Biden has often times had scripted replies to reporters’ questions. The White House will also usually hand-pick those reporters so that they know what questions are going to be asked.
Once Biden gave his answer, Wilner then proceeded with his second question, which angered the president.
“I do very briefly have a question on whether the United States has any evidence at all that would substantiate the ICC prosecutor’s specific allegations against Israeli leaders that they are using starvation as a tactic of war in Gaza – or exculpatory evidence, for that matter,” Wilner said.
He also asked the president if he “would commit to releasing information about any potential issuance of ICC arrest warrants?”
“Look, we made my position known on ICC. You guys never keep the deal – but that’s OK,” Biden frustratingly said due to Wilner asking a second question after all.
“You know, we’ve made our position clear on the ICC. We don’t think – we don’t recognize the jurisdiction, ICC, the way it’s been exercised. And it’s that simple. We don’t think there’s an equivalence between what Israel did and what Hamas did.”

The encounter between Joe Biden and the reporter wasn’t the only time awkward occurrence during the press conference.
While making opening statements, Biden said, “Our nation’s first black vice president, President Kamala Harris.”
Last time we checked, Kamala Harris is the vice president, not the president.
But for the 81-year-old Biden whose mental fitness is in decline, he was probably just in a state of confusion for the 100th time just in that press conference.
