Kennedy Jr.’s warning about another Trump assassination plot has all hell breaking loose

Donald Trump’s allies are worried. They think another threat is around the corner.

And Kennedy Jr.’s warning about another Trump assassination plot has all hell breaking loose.

In a sharp rebuke, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took to X to condemn Vice President Kamala Harris’s remarks that compared former President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler, accusing her of stoking division and inciting violence.

“This is the kind of inflammatory poison that divides our nation and inspires assassins,” Kennedy wrote, reacting to a video of Harris’s impromptu speech from Wednesday.

In her address, Harris drew a controversial comparison between Trump and the Nazi dictator, saying, “While Donald Trump was president, he said he wanted generals like Adolf Hitler had,” referencing a recent Atlantic article.

Harris went on to argue that Trump’s vision for the military was one of personal loyalty rather than allegiance to the U.S. Constitution.

“He wants a military that is loyal to him. He wants a military who will be loyal to him personally, one that will obey his orders even when he tells them to break the law or abandon their oath to the Constitution of the United States,” she said.

She further warned that, if re-elected, Trump would use the military as “his personal militia to carry out his personal and political vendettas.”

Trump, unsurprisingly, has vigorously denied the accusations.

Kennedy’s criticism extended beyond Harris’s speech. He also pointed out, “It’s particularly ironic since Biden/Harris have just pushed through DoD Directive 5240.01 giving the Pentagon power — for the first time in history — to use lethal force to k*ll Americans on U.S. soil who protest government policies.”

The Department of Defense’s Directive 5240.01 was initially issued in 2007 but underwent updates in September 2024. However, the Washington Examiner found no evidence that the updated directive authorized the use of lethal force against American citizens protesting government policies.

Rumors about the directive have circulated online, particularly about a passage that changed between 2020 and 2024. The wording was revised from “Under no circumstances shall any DoD Component or DoD employee engage in, or conspire to engage in, assassination” to “No DoD civilian employee or member of the Armed Forces will engage in, or conspire to engage in, assassination.” Nevertheless, neither version authorizes assassination, despite the misinformation surrounding it.

The Atlantic article cited by Harris has been the focal point of recent political attacks. The report alleged that Trump questioned why his generals weren’t as loyal as Hitler’s were.

John Kelly, Trump’s former chief of staff, reportedly expressed his astonishment at the comment, asking if Trump meant another historical figure instead.

Since the article’s publication on Tuesday, Harris and her campaign have repeatedly used it as ammunition against Trump. Her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, joined in, leveling similar criticisms earlier on Wednesday.

But as Kamala Harris continues to fall in the polls, she’s using this desperate attack on Trump to try and sway voters.

It’s an attack that has not be proven to be true and it’s one that Donald Trump has denied.
