ABC News caught red-handed rigging presidential debate against Donald Trump

The establishment media is out to destroy Trump. They’re doing everything in their power to make sure he doesn’t win reelection.

And ABC News was caught red-handed rigging the presidential debate against Donald Trump.

Tuesday night’s presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris proved just how biased the mainstream media is towards the Left.

The moderators of the debate wasted no time in fact-checking Trump for alleged lies during his many rebuttals and responses during the debate.

However, when Kamala Harris was actually spewing lies, the moderators were silent and didn’t bother to fact check her at all.

This basically led to Trump being caught up in a 3 vs. 1 situation the whole night. And because of that, Harris, her campaign, and the rest of her Leftist supporters, viewed the debate as a win for them.

Trump And GOP Furious With Debate Moderators As Democrats Celebrate

Tuesday night’s debate performance by Vice President Kamala Harris ignited a sharp divide between Democrats and Republicans, with both sides responding passionately. Democrats swiftly lauded Harris’s performance, contrasting their revived energy with the subdued atmosphere following President Joe Biden’s face-off against former President Donald Trump in June.

Republicans, on the other hand, directed their frustration at the ABC News moderators, accusing them of bias in their fact-checking and question selection, which they argued were aimed at disadvantaging Trump.

The contrasting reactions were notable, especially given how the Biden-Trump debate had played out. That event, seen by many as the beginning of Biden’s political unraveling, set the stage for Harris’s ascent as the Democratic frontrunner.

“To be clear, I was gonna tweet positive stuff about Kamala regardless, but this is legitimately a drubbing,” tweeted Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI), summing up the enthusiasm among Democrats. The contrast between Harris’s confident performance and Trump’s at times frustrated demeanor was not lost on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who compared Trump’s performance to “a guy yelling at random people on 34th Street with a karaoke speaker.”

Even Biden’s former primary challenger, Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN), seemed to relish Harris’s display of assertiveness, remarking that she was “man-handling this poor old guy.”

On the Republican side, the reaction was less celebratory and more focused on what they saw as an unfair playing field. They decried what they called biased moderation from ABC’s David Muir and Linsey Davis, particularly their fact-checking of Trump’s claims, including a disputed statement about states permitting the k*lling of babies after botched abortions. “The moderators might as well be on the DNC payroll. This is ridiculous,” fumed Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC). He went as far as to label it “the worst moderated debate in history.”

The grievances didn’t stop there. Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-GA) accused the moderators of “political activism,” while House GOP Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY) echoed that sentiment, branding them “pro-Kamala activists.” Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) added that Trump was forced to debate “both Kamala and the moderators.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) wasn’t shy in condemning Harris either, stating that despite the moderators’ “shameless” favoritism, the American public was reminded of two key problems. “She has a lifelong record as a Marxist, and she’s the sitting vice president who could secure the border and bring down costs today. Yet when Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris both say Harris’ values ‘have not changed,’ we should believe them,” Johnson remarked.

Despite the critiques, Trump managed to secure slightly more speaking time than Harris. Harris, however, succeeded in getting under Trump’s skin at times, especially when talking about his crowd sizes and abortion stance. “She talks to us like toddlers but is doing a good job provoking him,” an unnamed House Republican told the Washington Examiner. Another House Republican conceded that while Trump “could have won the election tonight, he didn’t close the deal.”

In a dramatic turn after the debate, Trump made an unexpected appearance in the “spin room,” a space typically reserved for reporters, elected officials, and aides, but not for presidential candidates themselves. “I thought that was my best Debate, EVER, especially since it was THREE ON ONE!” Trump posted afterward on Truth Social.

Meanwhile, the Harris campaign wasted no time calling for a second debate, though the timing remains unclear. “Vice President Harris is ready for a second debate,” said campaign chairwoman Jen O’Malley Dillion in a statement. “Is Donald Trump?”

While this certainly wasn’t the best night for Donald Trump as far as debate performances go, it was clear that the whole thing was rigged against him from the beginning thanks to the clear bias from the ABC News moderators.
